Archibald Clayborn Journals: Volume 1 Clue by Candlelight mysteries are the perfect little read for someone on the go. After all, you have all the clues, but can you guess whodunit? Retired Detective, Archibald Clayborn is summoned to his childhood sweetheart’s family home, Warren House, after the death of her husband. Coming to Camilla’s aid, Clayborn suspects he is there to comfort her. He couldn’t be more wrong. Camilla believes her husband was murdered and her list of suspects are currently in Warren House. Clayborn agrees to help, however, before he can embark on his investigations, another murder happens! But who is the culprit? Is it… · The somewhat standoffish maid, Mrs. June Carter? She may be pleasant to Clayborn, but does that extend to the rest of the guests? · Or could it be Mr. Tracey Mars, the late Lesley Cartwright’s business partner? His bullish attitude and short temper aren’t the only things to make him a suspect, he may have a motive too. · Then there’s Dana Trudeau, a Hollywood actress traveling with Mars. A temptress to be sure, but does she have ulterior motives for coming to Warren House? · The last of the Hollywood troupe, the reserved—but outspoken when provoked—scriptwriter, Mr. John Smithe doesn’t seem to fit the picture of a murderer, but Clayborn can’t deny motive might be there with the longstanding friction between his employers. · Or is the murderer closer to home? Could it be the family physician, Dr. Royce Trenton? His outrage at being asked the simplest of questions does make Clayborn suspicious that he’s hiding something. · Last, there is Dr. Trenton’s young niece, Diana Darling. An innocent to be sure, except for one thing; she wants to be an actress. Is Miss Darling as innocent as she appears, or is it all an act? Clayborn has his work cut out for him to catch this killer. Perhaps you can help him? For fans of Clue, Murder She Wrote and Agatha Christie. This exciting mini-series will test your ability as a sleuth! Bonus audio version included within.

The House of Mystery Radio Show has been on the air for ten years, broadcasting in over a dozen cities in the U.S. It started as a way to interview guests knowledgeable in many of the world's mysteries involving crime, science, religion, history, paranormal, conspiracies, etc. Voices of True Crime series is a curated collection of interviews from the show. Each volume focuses on an actual criminal case, or several, providing the background and reproducing the main points discussed in the interviews. This series is an excellent reference for researchers and a good overview for those unfamiliar with the case. Volume 2 covers the Teresa Halbach murder case, made famous from Netflix's Making a Murderer documentary series that began airing in December 2015. The House of Mystery Radio Show interviewed several of the key players involved in the case: Ken Kratz, the prosecutor of both Steven Avery and Brendan Dassey, and Michael Griesbach, District Attorney for Manitowoc Country who, after Steven Avery was wrongfully convicted in his first trial brought the misconduct of the law enforcement to the state's attorney. For the defense, we spoke with Laura Nirider from the Innocence Project, an expert in false convictions. We also interviewed Shawn Rech, a filmmaker that set out to correct the record on this murder case and expose the inaccuracies in the Making a Murderer series by creating his own docuseries coming early 2023 titled Convicted. We also examine one of the major theories surrounding this murder case brought on by retired Detective John A. Cameron. Cameron wrote a book that is the center of a five-part A&E series suggesting that the crime was committed by someone who had nothing to do with any of the players involved in Making a Murderer. He asserts serial killer Edward Wayne Edwards committed the crime. Online links to all the actual interviews are included.

Now, on this hot and humid June afternoon in South Carolina, it has led to their deaths; deaths caused by someone they trusted. In a fit of rage, their killer has executed each of the three tenants who have rented the beautiful home near the beach in North Litchfield, SC. After being killed, the killer has set three small fires within their home in an attempt to destroy any evidence that may have been left behind. Called out of retirement for the third time, Paul Waring, a retired state trooper from Connecticut, is asked to head the investigation into the deaths of these young men. An experienced homicide investigator for many years, he has been asked to do so as his friend, Captain Bobby Ray Jenkins, the head of the Georgetown County Sheriff's Department's Major Case Squad, is out of work due to recent back surgery. With Lt. Audrey Small, Jenkins' assistant, soon to be married, Paul is asked to take over an investigation that has been slow to start, and troubled by mistakes.
