Our founding fathers put God at the center of their deliberations as they met to write the constitution and other incredibly important documents, and witnessed His miraculous intervention in what occurred in those times. During the past 100 years or more America has turned her back on that same God, and willfully and deliberately expelled Him from schools, and many other public places. The men and woman who have governed this nation for decades have shown for the most part no desire for or interest in His divine intervention, and what we see today is a nation divided like never before, a nation in debt like never before, a nation with daily displays of intolerable evil and corruption like never before, and a nation that has lost the respect of other nations around this globe. Her people are confused, angry, frustrated, hesitantly and even fearfully groping around in darkness, attempting to find their way, totally unsure of which way to turn. What once was an incredible watch dog against evil all over this planet has now become an awful antithesis of honesty, morality, decency, and integrity. Who will come to her aide before she tumbles off the cliff? I believe God can and will. The author finds all of this a direct result of forsaking the very God who once blessed this nation mightily. But he also believes that God is gracious to the point that He will once again bless this nation as long as He is given His rightful and well deserved place in the lives of the populace. God has given us a manual for life that desperately needs to be studied, believed, respected, and the truth between its covers embraced wholeheartedly to enable Him to work the miracles He wants to perform to heal the USA.

Five years ago, Dr. Thomas Masters, gifted historian, wrote a classical text, NO MORE, highlighting 100 of the major societal issues facing America and, most importantly, offering valid, pragmatic solutions to those problems. The book pulled no punches in its themes of restoring common sense to American society. NATION BROKEN is the long-awaited follow-up to NO MORE. This sequel examines in depth the major societal divides, currently 12, that are rendering asunder the very fabric of American society. As with NO MORE, the examination of these numerous factions is carried out in the same practical, hard-hitting manner. The book also provides various scenarios for America in the next 10 to 30 years, some truly horrific, including the probability of a second Civil War. Dr. Masters is a retired physician living in northern Arizona. He is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys hiking and exploring the woods along the Mogollon Rim. He is working on his next book, MIRACLE OF LIFE, Genesis revisited. The future is almost upon us. God Save America.

Winner of the 2014 Prime Minister's Literary Award for Australian History; winner of the History Prize in the 2014 NSW Premier’s History Award; winner of the History Award in the 2014 Queensland Literary Awards. The Great War is, for many Australians, the event that defined our nation. The larrikin diggers, trench warfare, and the landing at Gallipoli have become the stuff of the Anzac 'legend'. But it was also a war fought by the families at home. Their resilience in the face of hardship, their stoic acceptance of enormous casualty lists and their belief that their cause was just, made the war effort possible. Broken Nation is the first book to bring together all the dimensions of World War I. Combining deep scholarship with powerful storytelling, Joan Beaumont brings the war years to life: from the well-known battles at Gallipoli, Pozieres, Fromelles and Villers-Bretonneux, to the lesser known battles in Europe and the Middle East; from the ferocious debates over conscription to the disillusioning Paris peace conference and the devastating 'Spanish' flu the soldiers brought home. We witness the fear and courage of tens of thousands of soldiers, grapple with the strategic nightmares confronting the commanders, and come to understand the impact on Australians at home and at the front of death on an unprecedented scale. A century after the Great War, Broken Nation brings lucid insight into the dramatic events, mass grief and political turmoil that makes the memory of this terrible war central to Australia's history. 'A deeply researched, judicious and multi-faceted account of the war that became Australia's greatest tragedy - highly readable for a modern audience.' - David Horner, Professor of Australian Defence History, Australian National University

Broken Church Nation Divided written by Stan Rogers and has been published by Christian Faith Publishing, Inc. this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2021-10-20 with Religion categories.

America is a nation divided to the extent that some are comparing it to the pre-Civil War era of the 1860s. That Civil War was violent, bloody, and hateful; and yet when it ended, America was almost immediately restored as one nation under God. It ended not without deep and enduring scars, but as a nation reunited well enough to become the industrialized leader of the free world for decades to come. We have always been divided socially, economically, and politically; but we have always been a nation united by our faith in the Christian God, the Creator of the universe and all that is within. The source of America's current divisiveness is ideological, propagated by those who embrace a globalist, pluralist code that carries a vision of one world apart from God. This doctrine has permeated our media, academia, sciences, and now even our churches. It is based purely on the premise that we can bring harmony and social equality to planet earth through humanist methods and that the human intellect has progressed beyond the need for mythical belief in a metaphysical god--specifically, the Christian God, the Creator of the physical universe. This is the same lie that deceived Eve in the garden of Eden, which led to the fall of man. The purpose of this writing is to restore a biblical worldview that has been lost within the twenty-first-century American Christian church. As our culture crumbles around us, 350,000 churches stand by seemingly disengaged from the darkness that has engulfed our nation. America used to be a beacon of light for the world. This was the vision that our Founding Fathers carried with them to America, and its source was from their faith in the Christian God. So what is happening to America, and why isn't the church having any effect upon the state of our union? This is a call for members of the body of Christ to reignite, reunite, and reestablish the light that can only be kindled within our individual commitment to remain in Christ; to commit an hour or so each day to be alone with our Creator in the Most Holy place--feeding, cleansing, and renewing our souls. Just you and God. The current grace-based doctrine of the modern Christian church has dumbed down the intricacies and treasures found within the contents of the Holy Bible to having little more significance than a bumper sticker. We read books written by other humans that tell us about the Bible; we read daily devotionals that cherry-pick scripture to make us feel good. However, few--if any of us--are actually committing to daily holy communion with God through his Word, the Holy Bible (all of it), and spending time in prayer in the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Why has Haiti been plagued by so many woes? Why have multiple U.S. efforts to create a stable democracy in Haiti failed so spectacularly? Philippe Girard answers these and other questions, examining how colonialism and slavery have left a legacy of racial tension, both within Haiti and internationally; Haitians remain deeply suspicious of white foriegners' motives, many of whom doubt Hatians' ability to govern themselves. He also examines how Haiti's current political instability is merely a continuation of political strife that began during the War of Independence (1791-1804). Finally, Haiti: The Tumultuous History, Girard explores poverty's devastating impact on contemporary Haiti and argues that Haitians--particularly home-grown dictators--bear a big share of the responsibility for their nation's troubles.
