This book describes three classes of nonlinear partial integro-differential equations. These models arise in electromagnetic diffusion processes and heat flow in materials with memory. Mathematical modeling of these processes is briefly described in the first chapter of the book. Investigations of the described equations include theoretical as well as approximation properties. Qualitative and quantitative properties of solutions of initial-boundary value problems are performed therafter. All statements are given with easy understandable proofs. For approximate solution of problems different varieties of numerical methods are investigated. Comparison analyses of those methods are carried out. For theoretical results the corresponding graphical illustrations are included in the book. At the end of each chapter topical bibliographies are provided. - Investigations of the described equations include theoretical as well as approximation properties - Detailed references enable further independent study - Easily understandable proofs describe real-world processes with mathematical rigor

Analytical And Numerical Methods For Convection Dominated And Singularly Perturbed Problems written by Lubin Vulkov and has been published by Nova Publishers this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2000 with Mathematics categories.
This volume is the Proceedings of the Workshop on Analytical and Computational Methods for Convection-Dominated and Singularly Perturbed Problems, which took place in Lozenetz, Bulgaria, 27-31 August 1998. The workshop attracted about 50 participants from 12 countries. The volume includes 13 invited lectures and 19 contributed papers presented at the workshop and thus gives an overview of the latest developments in both the theory and applications of advanced numerical methods to problems having boundary and interior layers. There was an emphasis on experiences from the numerical analysis of such problems and on theoretical developments. The aim of the workshop was to provide an opportunity for scientists from the East and the West, who develop robust methods for singularly perturbed and related problems and also who apply these methods to real-life problems, to discuss recent achievements in this area and to exchange ideas with a view of possible research co-operation.

Finite Element Methods For Integrodifferential Equations written by Chuan Miao Chen and has been published by World Scientific this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 1998-02-28 with Mathematics categories.
Recently, there has appeared a new type of evaluating partial differential equations with Volterra integral operators in various practical areas. Such equations possess new physical and mathematical properties. This monograph systematically discusses application of the finite element methods to numerical solution of integrodifferential equations. It will be useful for numerical analysts, mathematicians, physicists and engineers. Advanced undergraduates and graduate students should also find it beneficial.
