Sentieri e cammini che intrecciano la natura, l’archeologia, la storia e la spiritualità dell’isola Quando si parla di cammini la mente corre inevitabilmente a quello emblematico di Santiago. Forse non tutti sanno che esiste anche in Sardegna un Cammino di Santu Jacu, che tocca i luoghi di culto del santo presenti sul territorio, da Cagliari a Porto Torres passando per l’interno selvaggio e i borghi più caratteristici. Ma in questa straordinaria regione – una sorta di continente in scala che propone in pochi chilometri montagna e costa, foresta e mare, borgo e natura incontaminata – i cammini vanno ben oltre quelli religiosi più tradizionali. Basti pensare al noto Cammino Minerario di Santa Barbara, tra Iglesiente e Guspinese, che coniuga spiritualità, ambiente e archeologia industriale; o ai sentieri dei banditi, che durante le latitanze vagavano tra i luoghi impervi delle montagne barbaricine, tanto da essere diventati in alcuni casi guide turistiche; o ai numerosi itinerari archeologici sparsi per l’isola. A questi tragitti di carattere culturale si aggiungono le vie del trekking, come il Selvaggio Blu di sei giorni in Ogliastra, la Grande traversata del Supramonte e il Cammino 100 torri, ovvero il trekking più lungo d’Italia che si snoda per ben 1284 chilometri di costa in costa, da sud a nord in senso antiorario. E ancora, non mancano percorsi impegnativi – tra canyon mozzafiato, grotte e cascate – e, per i più “tranquilli”, leggere passeggiate urbane e rurali. Nel 2018 ha percorso il cammino di Santiago. Nel 2019, per circa un mese, ha visitato gran parte del Perù, tra cammini e vie di alta montagna. Da questa esperienza sono nati la sua passione per il turismo lento e il suo interesse per i cammini sardi, come quello di Santu Jacu e altri meno noti. Ideatrice di un progetto ispirato agli itinerari turistici peruviani ma rivisitati in chiave sarda, al momento sta mettendo a punto un nuovo modello di turismo lento in Sardegna.
