Inside of her is an insight on women from women. Inside of her is the heart of a woman's desirable, intricate, resilient mind. It is the words of women, glistening and sliding down a women's body in the form of poetry. She is a collection of poems about the female's perspective and the insight of and on women, misconceptions, life, love, friendships, battles, and so much more. It is her mind, body, soul, thoughts, and everything else you could possibly think of. So if you've ever wanted to know what goes on inside a woman's mind or if you've ever just wanted a little insight on women, spread this book open and get to reading. I promise that you won't be disappointed. Sit back, relax, and allow yourself to get lost inside of a woman's thoughts and mind.

My book traces the significant poetic and political contributions made by non-canonical women poets, situating women's poetry both in colonial Australian print culture and in wider imperial and transnational contexts. Women poets in colonial Australia have tended to be represented as marginal and isolated figures or absent. This study intervenes by demonstrating an alternative networked tradition of transnational feminist poetics and politics beyond and around emergent masculine nationalism, particularly within newspapers and periodical print culture. Without the inclusion of periodical literature, women’s poetry in Australia during the colonial period would appear to have been fairly limited. When periodical literature is taken into account, this picture is radically altered, and poets emerge as consistent contributors, often across a variety of newspapers and journals, who were well-known, influential and connected with political figures and literary circles. In examining this poetry in the original context of the newspapers and journals, the political intervention and the reception of that poetry is made much more apparent.

Fatal Women Of Romanticism written by Adriana Craciun and has been published by Cambridge University Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2002-12-12 with Literary Criticism categories.

Incarnations of fatal women, or femmes fatales, recur throughout the works of women writers in the Romantic period. Adriana Craciun demonstrates how portrayals of femmes fatales or fatal women played an important role in the development of Romantic women's poetic identities and informed their exploration of issues surrounding the body, sexuality and politics. Craciun covers a wide range of writers and genres from the 1790s through the 1830s. She discusses the work of well-known figures including Mary Wollstonecraft, as well as lesser-known writers like Anne Bannerman. By examining women writers' fatal women in historical, political and medical contexts, Craciun uncovers a far-ranging debate on sexual difference. She also engages with current research on the history of the body and sexuality, providing an important historical precedent for modern feminist theory's ongoing dilemma regarding the status of 'woman' as a sex.

Of Woman Born written by Adrienne Rich and has been published by National Geographic Books this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2021-04-27 with Social Science categories.

The pathbreaking investigation into motherhood and womanhood from an influential and enduring feminist voice, now for a new generation. In Of Woman Born, originally published in 1976, influential poet and feminist Adrienne Rich examines the patriarchic systems and political institutions that define motherhood. Exploring her own experience—as a woman, a poet, a feminist, and a mother—she finds the act of mothering to be both determined by and distinct from the institution of motherhood as it is imposed on all women everywhere. A “powerful blend of research, theory, and self-reflection” (Sandra M. Gilbert, Paris Review), Of Woman Born revolutionized how women thought about motherhood and their own liberation. With a stirring new foreword from National Book Critics Circle Award–winning writer Eula Biss, the book resounds with as much wisdom and insight today as when it was first written.
