Cet ouvrage est un essai d'articulation méthodologique entre les théories et les pratiques grammaticales en classe de langue française. Il est le résultat d'une dizaine d'années de recherche, d'expériences et d'enseignement de l'auteur. C'est un travail qui revisite le domaine de la contextualisation didactique en tant que champ émergent interrogeant les objectifs inhérents aux situations d'enseignement-apprentissage. Depuis les premiers travaux fondant la pédagogie différenciée, les réflexions se sont poursuivies sur l'ajustement de l'enseignement aux spécificités de l'apprenant, en un mot, son contexte. On conçoit désormais que l'environnement dans lequel évolue celui-ci influe sur les acquisitions et qu'il peut expliquer les décalages parfois observés entre un objectif d'enseignement et sa réalisation. Cette étude examine la question de la contextualisation et des notions qui l'entourent et s'intéresse aux modalités de l'enseignement du français dans le contexte tunisien en resserrant sur la question précise de la grammaire. Il s'agit d'une analyse des pratiques grammaticales en classe et des descriptions des faits de langue dans les manuels de français. D'un autre côté, cette réflexion s'inscrit dans une perspective d'innovation de l'enseignement-apprentissage de la grammaire, en se mettant au diapason d'une mouvance de l'usage des TIC à travers une démarche qui prend en considération le contexte socioculturel de l'étudiant.
