I truly believe that God will hear the slightest little cry of 'Lord, please grant revival, ' we will begin to be heard according to our faith. I can well imagine heaven's exclamation, 'Behold, they are praying! At last, instead of just talking to one another in a prayer meeting or displaying their doctrines, they are actually praying!' They are beginning to pull... on the ropes of the promises, that is, to begin to draw upon the cords of grace as if they were the bells of a church tolling in heaven, ringing out the promises of God. Such praying will finally, respectfully, demand the attention of the Almighty, leaving Him with no alternative other than to look down and grant the requests." God will hear our heart cries when we really develop a longing for His presence. However there is a price to be paid that many are not willing to pay. God is a Holy God. Before we can come into His very near presence there is a time of preparation. Walking into the presence of God requires a time of sanctification, a time of consecration, a time of dedication and a time of abandonment. God cannot and will not bring you into His presence if you are living in a state of sin and rebellion. However if you are willing to pay the price, He is ready for you. When you get to that point of total sanctification, total consecration, total dedication and total abandonment to Christ you will see mountains start to move. It is amazing how those moments of humility, pain and emotion in His Presence, not only bring about victory in the heavenly realms, but they also give us strength to pick up and move forward to continue partnering with Him in advancing His Kingdom.Laments touch the heart of God! Just like he heard David's and Habakkuk's, he hears our cries!He hears the cry of the broken. He hears the cries of the hungry and the thirsty, not physical hunger and physical thirst, but that of the spirit. Habakkuk 1:1-4O Lord, how long shall I cry, and thou wilt not hear! even cry out unto thee of violence, and thou wilt not save! But unfortunately, this landmark has been changed, by the end-time fathers to set their own. Tomorrow begins today, hence the necessity and the timely requirement of this book for adequate preparation now for His return.It is a widely known and accepted truth that the end-time Church of Christ has lost its salt and original beauty to become dumb and deaf for nonchalant attitude. But the Church, the leaders and the members are crying for reformation and a shift in the present order, as if this reformation is in heaven and seeking who will bring it down for us to hear and do. Moses clearly stated in his book, "But the word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may do it." (Deut. 30:11-13)Meaning the shift and reformation we cry for is very much with us but neglected, rejected and abandoned by all.Rev. Sam Aiyedogbon of Realm of Glory, Lagos was a Guest Minister to the 2006 National Convention of First Love Assembly Port Harcourt. I was in one of his teachings titled "Moving from Elementary to Everlasting Power". As soon as he called the anchor Scripture, Heb 6:1-6, read and began to speak, I was immediately cut off into a different spirit environment by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit began to translate the short Scripture and the introduction he made into a dictation of the scripts of this book, " The Abandoned Gospel", like what happened to Prophet Ezekiel in the book of Ezekiel chapter 8:1-3.The unexplainable experience of that day was very unique that I knew God was on a mission to communicate the burden of His heart concerning His Church to the world. He needed a rebirth of His Church from the present order. But the first step to this rebirth is the revival of the long abandoned and missing fathers' old landmark the present truth (Repentance). This is fundamentally important to the return of His Son and the growth of His kingdom. The prompting in my spirit to write the scripts into a book from that moment became very strong, yet I left the outline where I ended it that day undeveloped. Why? I could not see myself as one of the right candidates for this mission of reformation, like Prophet Jeremiah. (Jer. 1:4-12).CLEAR REVELATIONOn Sunday 4th Feb. 2007, I had a very clear revelation that confirmed to me that God is actually giving me a responsibility which I refuse to take. In a dream, I saw an old aged man in white apparel with all the hairs on his head and beard as white as snow, seated on a high golden chair in a Church. On his neck was a gold plated pendant with inscription 3/2. He called me, touched my forehead, started robbing it with his finger tip and said 'channel' several times, and muttering some other words which was not very clear to me. When robbing my forehead, I discovered its bone was very soft like the thigh flesh. And wonder how the bone was soft like flesh. I then asked him what he said which I did not hear clearly. Then the assistant that was standing by Him said, "He said, Mathew 3:2, go and write and preach."Mathew 3:2 says "Repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand"The challenge and the burden in the heart of God for this moment is the decay that is evidently clear and seen in the Church, and the world today, hence the need for a genuine repentance in the Church and the world at large"Whom shall I send, And who will go for us"? (Isaiah 6:8)
