Bieners Studie macht nicht nur erstmals die Geschichte der Abendschule in Kassel ab 1928 und seit ihrer Neugründung 1946 zum Gegenstand einer wissenschaftlichen Untersuchung, sondern beleuchtet auch ihre Vorläufer im 19.
