In this book, we introduce the parametrized, deformed and general activation function of neural networks. The parametrized activation function kills much less neurons than the original one. The asymmetry of the brain is best expressed by deformed activation functions. Along with a great variety of activation functions, general activation functions are also engaged. Thus, in this book, all presented is original work by the author given at a very general level to cover a maximum number of different kinds of neural networks: giving ordinary, fractional, fuzzy and stochastic approximations. It presents here univariate, fractional and multivariate approximations. Iterated sequential multi-layer approximations are also studied. The functions under approximation and neural networks are Banach space valued.

Nonlinear Functional Analysis And Its Applications written by E. Zeidler and has been published by Springer Science & Business Media this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2013-11-21 with Mathematics categories.
This is the second of a five-volume exposition of the main principles of nonlinear functional analysis and its applications to the natural sciences, economics, and numerical analysis. The presentation is self -contained and accessible to the nonspecialist. Part II concerns the theory of monotone operators. It is divided into two subvolumes, II/A and II/B, which form a unit. The present Part II/A is devoted to linear monotone operators. It serves as an elementary introduction to the modern functional analytic treatment of variational problems, integral equations, and partial differential equations of elliptic, parabolic and hyperbolic type. This book also represents an introduction to numerical functional analysis with applications to the Ritz method along with the method of finite elements, the Galerkin methods, and the difference method. Many exercises complement the text. The theory of monotone operators is closely related to Hilbert's rigorous justification of the Dirichlet principle, and to the 19th and 20th problems of Hilbert which he formulated in his famous Paris lecture in 1900, and which strongly influenced the development of analysis in the twentieth century.

Fractional Difference Differential Equations And Inclusions written by Saïd Abbas and has been published by Elsevier this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2024-01-11 with Mathematics categories.
The field of fractional calculus (FC) is more than 300 years old, and it presumably stemmed from a question about a fractional-order derivative raised in communication between L'Hopital and Leibniz in the year 1695. This branch of mathematical analysis is regarded as the generalization of classical calculus, as it deals with the derivative and integral operators of fractional order. The tools of fractional calculus are found to be of great utility in improving the mathematical modeling of many natural phenomena and processes occurring in the areas of engineering, social, natural, and biomedical sciences. Fractional Difference, Differential Equations, and Inclusions: Analysis and Stability is devoted to the existence and stability (Ulam-Hyers-Rassias stability and asymptotic stability) of solutions for several classes of functional fractional difference equations and inclusions. Some equations include delay effects of finite, infinite, or state-dependent nature. Others are subject to impulsive effect which may be fixed or non-instantaneous. The tools used to establish the existence results for the proposed problems include fixed point theorems, densifiability techniques, monotone iterative technique, notions of Ulam stability, attractivity and the measure of non-compactness as well as the measure of weak noncompactness. All the abstract results are illustrated by examples in applied mathematics, engineering, biomedical, and other applied sciences. - Introduces notation, definitions, and foundational concepts of fractional q-calculus - Presents existence and attractivity results for a class of implicit fractional q-difference equations in Banach and Fréchet spaces - Focuses on the study of a class of coupled systems of Hilfer and Hilfer-Hadamard fractional differential equations

This book provides a broad overview of the latest developments in fractional calculus and fractional differential equations (FDEs) with an aim to motivate the readers to venture into these areas. It also presents original research describing the fractional operators of variable order, fractional-order delay differential equations, chaos and related phenomena in detail. Selected results on the stability of solutions of nonlinear dynamical systems of the non-commensurate fractional order have also been included. Furthermore, artificial neural network and fractional differential equations are elaborated on; and new transform methods (for example, Sumudu methods) and how they can be employed to solve fractional partial differential equations are discussed. The book covers the latest research on a variety of topics, including: comparison of various numerical methods for solving FDEs, the Adomian decomposition method and its applications to fractional versions of the classical Poisson processes, variable-order fractional operators, fractional variational principles, fractional delay differential equations, fractional-order dynamical systems and stability analysis, inequalities and comparison theorems in FDEs, artificial neural network approximation for fractional operators, and new transform methods for solving partial FDEs. Given its scope and level of detail, the book will be an invaluable asset for researchers working in these areas.

Bernstein Functions written by René L. Schilling and has been published by Walter de Gruyter this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2012-10-01 with Mathematics categories.
Bernstein functions appear in various fields of mathematics, e.g. probability theory, potential theory, operator theory, functional analysis and complex analysis – often with different definitions and under different names. Among the synonyms are `Laplace exponent' instead of Bernstein function, and complete Bernstein functions are sometimes called `Pick functions', `Nevanlinna functions' or `operator monotone functions'. This monograph – now in its second revised and extended edition – offers a self-contained and unified approach to Bernstein functions and closely related function classes, bringing together old and establishing new connections. For the second edition the authors added a substantial amount of new material. As in the first edition Chapters 1 to 11 contain general material which should be accessible to non-specialists, while the later Chapters 12 to 15 are devoted to more specialized topics. An extensive list of complete Bernstein functions with their representations is provided.
