Las respuestas a estas interrogantes constituyen los fundamentos de esa revisión y actualización de las teorizaciones freudianas sobre los instintos y la sexualidad que se propone el autor. Contribuyendo así con la formulación definitiva de los fundamentos que apuntalen al PsicoAnálisis: Como instrumento para la investigación de trastornos mentales de origen psicológico, como terapia, y como disciplina en el ámbito de la Psicología.

El propósito central de este trabajo, el cual constituye el primero de una serie que denomino PsicoAnálisis: Una perspectiva Rigurosamente freudiana. Es una revisión y una actualización de las teorías acerca de la existencia de instintos en los seres humanos, y sobre su sexualidad. Que formulara el precursor, sistematizador y principal expositor del PsicoAnálisis: Sigmund Freud(1856-1939). Cuyas insuficiencias teoréticas, éste reconocería hasta el final de sus días. Llenando así, ese vacío teorético dejado por Freud; es decir, formular, como éste expondría en Un Recuento Autobiográfico sobre el PsicoAnálisis: ‘una teoría sobre los instintos, sobre la cual poder avanzar’; trabajo publicado en 1925. De la cual derivar una teoría sobre la sexualidad humana. Contribuyendo así con la formulación definitiva de los fundamentos teoréticos que apuntalen al PsicoAnálisis; como forma de investigar las actividades psíquicas humanas, como terapia, y como disciplina científica.
