This report is a follow-up of the Report DAfStb-Heft 617 so that the aims of this report remain the same as explained there in Chapter 1 of the foreword. The development of the ACI-DAfStb Shear Databases is described in Chapter 2 of the foreword of DAfStb-Heft 617 and is also not repeated here. The report is subdivided into seven parts, whereby within each part contains several subparts. Thereby, this DAfStb-Heft 635 mainly deals with databases for tests on beams without stirrups. For tests on beams with stirrups, the databases presented in DAfStb-Heft 617 remain valid. In Part 1, all procedures and all criteria for the selection of tests are explained in detail. This Part is a revision of that in DAfStb-Heft 617. Apart from editorial changes and some corrections, especially the flexural check has been revised in order to account for compression reinforcement in the beams. Part 2 of this report covers different databases with shear tests on reinforced concrete beams without stirrups. These are either revisions of the databases in DAfStb-Heft 617 with more tests covered or new databases. Part 2.1 presents the revised database with beams subjected to point loads, and Part 2.2A deals with the revised database with beams subjected to a uniformly distributed load. Part 2.2B presents the merged database with all 946 selected tests on beams with point loads (892 tests) and 54 tests on beams with a distributed load. These are far more tests than in DAfStb-Heft 617 with 744 tests on beams with point loads and 40 tests on beams with distributed loads, altogether 784 tests. This Part 2.2B also contains the evaluations with comparisons of several design proposals with test results. Part 2.3 presents a revised databases in comparison to DAfStb-Heft 617, because the number of tests on beams subjected to axial tension could be considerably increased. The databases comprises tests on simple beams as well as tests on beams with moments at the end supports like at intermediate suppor

Textile Reinforced Cement Composites written by Jan Wastiels and has been published by MDPI this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2020-03-05 with Technology & Engineering categories.

This Special Issue presents the latest advances in the field of Textile-Reinforced Cement Composites, including Textile-Reinforced Concrete (TRC), Textile-Reinforced Mortar (TRM), Fabric-Reinforced Cementitious Matrix (FRCM), etc. These composite materials distinguish themselves from other fibre-reinforced concrete materials by their strain-hardening behaviour under tensile loading. This Special Issue is composed of 14 papers covering new insights in structural and material engineering. The papers include investigations on the level of the fibre reinforcement system as well as on the level of the composites, investigating their impact and fatigue behaviour, durability and fire behaviour. Both the strengthening of existing structures and the development of new structural systems such as lightweight sandwich systems are presented, and analysis and design methods are discussed. This Special Issue demonstrates the broadness and intensity of the ongoing advancements in the field of Textile-Reinforced Cement composites and the importance of several future research directions.

The International Federation for Structural Concrete (fib) is a pre-normative organization. 'Pre-normative' implies pioneering work in codification. This work has now been realized with the fib Model Code 2010. The objectives of the fib Model Code 2010 are to serve as a basis for future codes for concrete structures, and present new developments with regard to concrete structures, structural materials and new ideas in order to achieve optimum behaviour. The fib Model Code 2010 is now the most comprehensive code on concrete structures, including their complete life cycle: conceptual design, dimensioning, construction, conservation and dismantlement. It is expected to become an important document for both national and international code committees, practitioners and researchers. The fib Model Code 2010 was produced during the last ten years through an exceptional effort by Joost Walraven (Convener; Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands), Agnieszka Bigaj-van Vliet (Technical Secretary; TNO Built Environment and Geosciences, The Netherlands) as well as experts out of 44 countries from five continents.
