Administração e jogos RPG tem alguma coisa a ver? Um estudante de graduação em Administração (Geral, de Empresas ou Pública) ou até mesmo um bacharel em Administração usaria o que aprendeu em sua graduação em um jogo? A resposta é: sim! Mas qual a referência para isso? Jogo é um jogo! De fato, muitos dirão que jogo é um jogo, mas é muito mais do que uma simples diversão ou passatempo. Mas o que faz um jogo ser muito mais do que uma diversão/entretenimento? O ponto de vista do jogador. Conheci um jogo MMORPG e, por mais que não me imaginava passando meu tempo em um jogo online, fui tomando gosto a ponto de querer aprender mais e mais não somente pelo jogo em si, mas pelo que ele oferece: contato contínuo com outros jogadores de diversos lugares Brasil afora, sim, acreditem, a Internet tem esse lado de trazer mais próximo das pessoas outras pessoas que sequer imaginariam conhecer e aprender com elas! Enquanto administrador, minha curiosidade em ver muito do que aprendi em classe sendo aplicado a um mero jogo, um passatempo e como isso tem sido importante não somente para mim, mas muitas outras pessoas usam o jogo online como fonte de seu progresso pessoal e profissional, até mesmo um bom exemplo disso foi o chamado de um jovem que entre uma de suas entrevistas profissionais, comentou que foi GM de uma Guild em um jogo RPG Online por mais de oito meses, o que foi de grande valia para ele, afinal, foi contratado. Sendo assim, o que pensar de um simples jogo online? Apenas um entretenimento ou também um instrumento de trabalho? Essas e outras dúvidas somente poderão ser respondidas se há o interesse do indivíduo em conhecer o jogo e o universo que ele está. O que posso dizer é, minhas curiosidades me levaram a conhecer um mundo diferente, embora virtual, mas uma nova visão para meus conhecimentos técnicos, pois pude acompanhar mudanças em jovens, que começaram a jogar e nem imaginariam que algum tempo depois, estariam comandando mais de cem pessoas em um mesmo objetivo sem mesmo nunca terem visto ou terem contato direto, ao vivo com tais pessoas. Isso lhe parece incomum? Pode até pensar que seja, mas num mundo de hoje, a interatividade é tamanha que não podemos deixar de lado, ver pessoas atrás de seus computadores interagindo com outras num jogo e aprimorando seus conhecimentos e ganhando amigos e seguidores pelo simples fato de ter um personagem em um jogo, parece absurdo, mas é a realidade hoje em dia. E esse foi o ponto a ser tratado nesse livro, e o que podemos aprender com um simples jogo online quanto a administrar uma organização.

Então me perguntarão: “O que tem a haver um jogo online MMORPG com Administração?” Posso responder dessa forma: Com qualquer um dos personagens (char) é possível criar uma guild(a), ou seja, um grupo/clã de jogadores que tenham os mesmos propósitos e/ou pensamentos; e como qualquer grupo, tem-se regras de comportamento, líderes de grupos e subgrupos, ou seja, para chegarem a um objetivo em comum, precisarão bolar estratégias, encontrar no meio dos membros jogadores que tenham o espírito de liderança, organizando e estruturando fórum de guild, para que seus membros saibam os preceitos/ditames/regras da guild que os nortearão a seguir tais objetivos de forma ordenada/organizada. Embora sendo um jogo virtual, não muda em nada a forma de se administrar uma organização real de uma organização virtual em um jogo online, principalmente porque há os mesmos processos utilizados em uma organização privada e/ou instituição pública e em uma organização virtual de jogo online, tais como: • Objetivo da guild / empresa • Liderança • Regras de Comportamento Muitos ensinamentos e teorias da Administração podem ser usadas em jogos online, cabendo então uma interpretação do que pode ser visto apenas como um entretenimento entendido apenas como passatempo ou entretenimento como um treinamento lúdico. Foi esse o pensamento que me levou a entrar num jogo MMORPG e ganhar inúmeras experiências que têm me sido úteis no meu dia-a-dia na vida profissional.

Segundo livro sobre Administração em Jogos MMORPG, tendo como foco o Jogo MU no Servidor MUCA, este como estudo de caso. O que busco mencionar neste livro é o lado jogador, como conquistá-lo em um servidor e os procedimentos e progressões que terá após optar em jogar. Para tentar explanar sobre isso, usarei as minhas experiências, onde conheci um jogo RPG/MMORPG Online chamado MU nos intervalos do trabalho, em momentos de descontração, dois colegas de trabalho sempre estavam lá comentando sobre linguagens de jogo e o quanto aquilo me intrigou, coisa que ponderei em meu primeiro livro, no entanto, colocando a ênfase tanto na técnica da Administração quanto também no pensar de um indivíduo como jogador. O tempo foi passando e tais dúvidas continuaram a martelar em minha cabeça, pois meus colegas mantinham a conversa sobre o jogo, ainda mais ouvindo deles algumas palavras tão familiares a um administrador: organização, planejar, agir, orientar, comandar, que fui obrigado a questioná-los sobre o que falavam e o que era de fato aquilo que tanto ocupa o tempo deles. Acabei sendo incentivado a entrar no jogo e, por mais que não me imaginava passando meu tempo em um jogo online, fui tomando gosto pelo jogo a ponto de querer aprender mais e mais não somente pelo jogo em si, mas pelo que ele oferece: contato contínuo com outros jogadores de diversos lugares Brasil afora, sim, acreditem, a Internet tem esse lado de trazer mais próximo das pessoas outras pessoas que sequer imaginariam conhecer e aprender com elas!
