編輯台時間 答案都給了,還不考試? 根據〈2019年多益英語測驗全球考生資料統計報告摘要〉,台灣人平均多益(TOEIC,Test of English for International Communication)成績是562分,在每年測驗人數超過500人的49個國家之中,排名第40,只贏9個國家,像是越南、泰國。 而〈2012年台灣地區TOEIC成績統計報告摘要〉顯示,2012年平均分數是539分。6年來,台灣平均英文程度只提高23分,相當於多答對了兩道題目。 台灣人英文程度幾乎沒變,然而,依據〈2018年臺灣大型企業人才國際化及外語職能管理調查報告〉,晉升基層主管要求的多益分數從545分提升到621;中階主管則是從608分變成684,平均標準都高了80分。 同時,相比2015年有19.3%企業雇用超過10%的外籍人才,2018年僅有9%的企業人資表示,公司聘用了一定比例的外籍人才(減少了10.3%)。 從以上數字,我們可以得到幾個洞察:第一,過去6年,國人英文程度進步有限,但對主管多益分數的要求卻提升了80分左右。其次,台灣企業想要聘用「本土」的國際化人才,但多數人英文能力仍然不足。簡單來說,「英文好」是決定晉升的競爭優勢之一。 然而,該如何衡量英文的進步程度?
