The users of engineering college libraries in North Karnataka on review of literature, it was found that no such study at the doctoral level has been done in engineering college libraries of North Karnataka.2 Therefore, to bridge the gap, it is proposed to survey the engineering college libraries in North Karnataka with reference to use and management of E-resources and services by the users of the engineering college libraries of North Karnataka. Hence the present Study. The importance of a user is recognized as a key person in any information center of a library system in the environment. The user needs are different to procure suitable information to the library in accordance with the needs of information seekers is the primary duty of the librarians.
