Monogenic Functions In Spaces With Commutative Multiplication And Applications written by Sergiy A. Plaksa and has been published by Springer Nature this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2023-07-18 with Mathematics categories.
This monograph develops a theory of continuous and differentiable functions, called monogenic functions, in the sense of Gateaux functions taking values in some vector spaces with commutative multiplication. The study of these monogenic functions in various commutative algebras leads to a discovery of new ways of solving boundary value problems in mathematical physics. The book consists of six parts: Part I presents some preliminary notions and introduces various concepts of differentiable mappings of vector spaces. Part II - V is devoted to the study of monogenic functions in various spaces with commutative multiplication, namely, three dimensional commutative algebras with two-dimensional radical, finite-dimensional commutative associative algebras, infinite-dimensional vector spaces associated with the three-dimensional Laplace equation and infinite-dimensional vector spaces associated with axial-symmetric potential fields. Part VI presents some boundary value problems for axial-symmetric potential fields and develops effective analytic methods of solving these boundary value problems with various applications in mathematical physics. Graduate students and researchers alike benefit from this book.

Changes And Innovations In Social Systems written by Sarka Hoskova-Mayerova and has been published by Springer Nature this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2025-05-13 with Technology & Engineering categories.
This book presents challenges and innovations in social problems over the centuries. By their nature, human beings are innovative and continuously adapted to appeared changes over the time. From this point of view, human history can be considered as the story of all changes and innovations which have drastically influenced our way of life. Changes and innovations are normal things in the way of adaptation and are necessary conditions for survival along the time. Changes and innovations are hard and long-term processes. Any progress in history is the result of changes and innovations. To innovate, changes are required: in the culture, in the education, in the way of working, in the way of think, etc. In the same time, innovations imply changes, and changes usually generate reactions. Innovations are always oriented to the future and, in turn, imply changes. From here, the race of evolution was born. Changes require effort, generate resistance but, in the same time, increase performance in almost all domains, and increase vision and leadership; therefore, the progress is obtained. To grew up as a field and provide changes, innovations need to present its theoretical foundations which make sense of the domains on which they are applied. To emphasize the above aspects, the proposed book presents some aspects regarding, but not only limited, to: computer science (new theoretical and practical applications); mathematics (mathematical models, all mathematical results which can improve or are inspired from another known results, some aspects regarding history of mathematics, etc.); education, etc. The chapters of the book present the state of arts of the chosen subjects, from its beginning, its developments, and its applications, by emphasizing the connection with the application or model that the authors have chosen for the presentation.

Matrix Algorithms written by G. W. Stewart and has been published by SIAM this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2001-08-30 with Mathematics categories.
This is the second volume in a projected five-volume survey of numerical linear algebra and matrix algorithms. It treats the numerical solution of dense and large-scale eigenvalue problems with an emphasis on algorithms and the theoretical background required to understand them. The notes and reference sections contain pointers to other methods along with historical comments. The book is divided into two parts: dense eigenproblems and large eigenproblems. The first part gives a full treatment of the widely used QR algorithm, which is then applied to the solution of generalized eigenproblems and the computation of the singular value decomposition. The second part treats Krylov sequence methods such as the Lanczos and Arnoldi algorithms and presents a new treatment of the Jacobi-Davidson method. These volumes are not intended to be encyclopedic, but provide the reader with the theoretical and practical background to read the research literature and implement or modify new algorithms.
