There are passages in Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Revelation that discuss Babylon in detail. The prophecies in Revelation refer directly to end-times Babylon, and the Old Testament prophecies point toward her too, using some language very similar to that found in the New Testament. The book is written by someone who has also lived a very unique life, one that he believes was meant to directly symbolize and artistically express America. Discussing both a long list of personal traits in common with the country, and a long, eerily powerful list of life events with meanings identical to events in U.S. history, and happening at virtually identical percentage points through both America's history and his own lifespan, he makes this case. This is an admittedly unusual book that tackles two very unique but nonetheless perfectly documented arguments about America: 1) that she is Mystery Babylon, and is in the process of being destroyed forever; and 2) that he was created for the sole purpose of representing her nature, rise, zenith, decline, and fall. This text is nothing if not different, but then again, that's in keeping with American uniqueness.
