Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2021 im Fachbereich Medizin - Pharmakologie, Arzneimittelwesen, Pharmazie, Note: 2,0, Hochschule für angewandte Wissenschaften Würzburg-Schweinfurt, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Führt die Implementierung eines Arzneimittel-Informationssystems in Hausarztpraxen zu einer gesteigerten Arzneimitteltherapiesicherheit bei Frauen im Alter zwischen 50 und 70 Jahren und kann somit Über-, Unter- und Fehlversorgungen sowie stationäre Aufenthalte aufgrund dieser Wirkungen vorbeugen? Die Arzneimitteltherapie gehört zu den wichtigsten therapeutischen Maßnahmen in der vertragsärztlichen Praxis. Laut Arzneiverordnungsreport 2019 haben die Vertragsärztinnen und Vertragsärzte in Deutschland im Jahr 2018 rund 661 Millionen Verordnungen allein im Bereich der gesetzlichen Krankenversicherung ausgestellt. Das entspricht 41 Milliarden Tagesdosen. Knapp 70 Prozent der Arzneimittel werden von hausärztlich tätigen Ärztinnen und Ärzten verschrieben. Darüber hinaus sind in Deutschland aufgrund behördlicher Marktzugangsberechtigungen beinahe 105.000 Arzneimittel verkehrsfähig. Knapp die Hälfte davon sind verschreibungspflichtig. Insgesamt wurden im Jahr 2021 in deutschen Apotheken mehr als 1,25 Milliarden Arzneimittelpackungen abgegeben. Der überwiegende Teil wurde ärztlich auf Rezept verordnet. Etwa ein Drittel der abgegebenen Arzneimittelpackungen haben sich Patientinnen und Patienten im Rahmen der Selbstmedikation eigenständig in der Apotheke gekauft.
