With growing modernization, latest agricultural food products are being seen in the market.Usage of synthetic fertilisers and pesticides has caused immense harm to the human health and to the soil. Today an increasing number of customers are shifting to organic products for consumption. Organic products are grown under a system of agriculture without the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides with an environmentally and socially responsible approach. This is a method of farming that works at grass root level preserving the reproductive and regenerative capacity of the soil, good plant nutrition, and sound soil management. The purpose behind this study is to understand the reasons behind the preference of consumers for organic products. The study also aims at determining the criteria of identifying the factors which influence and affect the purchase of organic foods by consumers in Indore city.The analysis is based on empirical data collected from consumers of organic products in Indore city.The sampling has been done based on Convenience Sampling technique to target users and customers of organic products in Indore. A Validated and Reliable questionnaire will be used to collect data from Indore. The datawill be analysed using SPSS software with factor analysis as data reduction technique to identify the various factors influencing the purchase of organic foods. The findings are discussed to draw conclusions on finding an appropriate strategy to promote organic products amongst its non-users.

The present research is about the factors influencing consumer purchase decision at the store outlet for branded apparels. This study explores the popularity of branded apparels and aims to find out if youth are attracted towards branded apparels or if they prefer non-branded apparels. Consumerism and higher brand awareness has driven the Indore youth towards branded apparels. Customers in Indore are increasingly showing preference for branded labels. This study ascertains the factors influencing the customers to move on this segment and determines the major drives responsible for the consumer buying behaviour for their brand preferences. In total 200 samples were taken for this study by selecting Indore, Madhya Pradesh as the sampling frame work. Systematic random sampling was chosen as the sampling method using structured questionnaire. Exploratory factor analysis is used as a statistical tool for data analysis. Price seems to be the major driving force for the customer to decide the purchase.

Purpose - The main objective of this study is to understand the behavior of ecological consumers and their intention to purchase organic food. The study aims to determine the factors influencing consumer behavior towards organic food. Design/Methodology/Approach - The method used for the data collection was a face-to-face interview, using a structured questionnaire, with closed-ended questions. In total, 463 respondents participated in the survey. It was decided to use various multivariate analyses like multiple regressions, factor analysis and cluster analysis with large sample size. Findings - The results indicate that health, availability and education from demographic factors positively influence the consumer's attitude towards buying organic food. Overall satisfaction of consumers for organic food is more than inorganic food but the satisfaction level varies due to different factors. Practical Implications - This study suggests that retailers can develop effective marketing program and strategies to influence consumers positively. They can emphasize the health benefits and quality of organic food. They can make these products easily available to attract consumers to buy organic food. Originality/Value - This study provides valuable insight into consumer behavior regarding organic food by examining the factors that influence consumers' intention to purchase organic food, within the Indian context. The lessons can also be replicated in other countries for marketing organic foods.

The factors that drive organic food (OF) buying intentions and consumption behaviours of young Indians is poorly understood. The research investigated these factors along with the moderating effect of cultural values. Data were obtained from 401 students from universities in India through online surveys. Attitude towards OF purchases, subjective norm, and perceived quality were found to significantly influence OF purchase intention; environmental concern, perceived consumer effectiveness and price consciousness did not. Young consumers, mostly urban, from high-income families, general social class with a culture of high uncertainty avoidance, long-term orientation and indulgence have the most favourable mindset towards OF.
