This book covers the most important issues from classical and robust control, deterministic and stochastic control, system identification, and adaptive and iterative control strategies. It covers most of the known control system methodologies using a new base, the Youla parameterization (YP). This concept is introduced and extended for TDOF control loops. The Keviczky-Banyasz parameterization (KP) method developed for closed loop systems is also presented. The book is valuable for those who want to see through the jungle of available methods by using a unified approach, and for those who want to prepare computer code with a given algorithm. - Provides comprehensive coverage of the most widely used control system methodologies - The first book to use the Youla parameterization (YP) as a common base for comparison and algorithm development - Compares YP and Keviczky-Banyasz (KB) parameterization to help you write your own computer algorithms

Computer Controlled Systems With Delay written by Efim N. Rosenwasser and has been published by Springer this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2019-05-22 with Technology & Engineering categories.
Computer-Controlled Systems with Delay is a systematic study of the problems of analysis and synthesis for multidimensional sampled-data (SD) systems with delay. It is based on the frequency polynomial method, in which the concept of a parametric transfer matrix (PTM) plays a key role. Until now, no alternative general methods have been available to solve the above problems. The text is divided into three parts: background information from the theory of polynomial and rational matrices, helps the reader to acquire the basic understanding necessary to use the main content of the book without addressing additional sources; methods for the mathematical description of multidimensional SD systems with delay, based on the concept of the PTM; and optimization methods for multidimensional SD systems with delay, including H2 andL2 optimization as well as H2 optimization for colored input signals. The monograph is completed by three appendices. An algorithm for constructing the set of pathological sampling periods for a continuous SISO object with delay is provided first. MATLAB®-toolbox algorithms representing methods described in the book and application examples for selected optimization problems are given in the second. A solution to the problem of guaranteeing the required performance in a class of stochastic disturbances for SD systems with delay is considered in the third. Computer-Controlled Systems with Delay is intended for engineers, scientists and teachers working in modern control theory. It will also benefit post-graduate students taking courses in related disciplines. The book continues the description of the authors’ research results on developing methods for SD systems theory which are based onthe PTM concept and published in the monographs Computer Controlled Systems and Multivariable Computer-controlled Systems.

Diagnosis And Fault Tolerant Control written by Mogens Blanke and has been published by Springer Science & Business Media this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2013-03-14 with Science categories.
Technological systems are vulnerable to faults. Actuator faults reduce the performance of control systems and may even cause a complete break-down of the system. Erroneous sensor readings are the reason for operating points that are far from the optimal ones. Wear reduces the efficiency and quality of a production line. In most fault situations, the system operation has to be stopped to avoid damage to machinery and humans. As a consequence, the detection and the handling of faults play an increas ing role in modern technology, where many highly automated components interact in a complex way and where a fault in a single component may cause the malfunction of the whole system. Due to the simultaneously increasing economic demands and the numerous ecological and safety restrictions to be met, high dependability of technological systems has become a dominant goal in industry in the recent years. This book introduces the main ideas of fault diagnosis and fault-tolerant control. It gives a thorough survey of the new methods that have been de veloped in the recent years and demonstrates them by application examples. To the knowledge of the authors, all major aspects of fault-tolerant control are treated for the first time in a single book from a common viewpoint.
