Physics has long been regarded as a wellspring of mathematical problems. Mathematical Methods in Physics is a self-contained presentation, driven by historic motivations, excellent examples, detailed proofs, and a focus on those parts of mathematics that are needed in more ambitious courses on quantum mechanics and classical and quantum field theory. Aimed primarily at a broad community of graduate students in mathematics, mathematical physics, physics and engineering, as well as researchers in these disciplines.

This is a concise reference book on analysis and mathematical physics, leading readers from a foundation to advanced level understanding of the topic. This is the perfect text for graduate or PhD mathematical-science students looking for support in topics such as distributions, Fourier transforms and microlocal analysis, C* Algebras, value distribution of meromorphic functions, noncommutative differential geometry, differential geometry and mathematical physics, mathematical problems of general relativity, and special functions of mathematical physics.Analysis and Mathematical Physics is the sixth volume of the LTCC Advanced Mathematics Series. This series is the first to provide advanced introductions to mathematical science topics to advanced students of mathematics. Edited by the three joint heads of the London Taught Course Centre for PhD Students in the Mathematical Sciences (LTCC), each book supports readers in broadening their mathematical knowledge outside of their immediate research disciplines while also covering specialized key areas.

"This book is the first of a multivolume series devoted to an exposition of functional analysis methods in modern mathematical physics. It describes the fundamental principles of functional analysis and is essentially self-contained, although there are occasional references to later volumes. We have included a few applications when we thought that they would provide motivation for the reader. Later volumes describe various advanced topics in functional analysis and give numerous applications in classical physics, modern physics, and partial differential equations." --Publisher description.

p-adic numbers play a very important role in modern number theory, algebraic geometry and representation theory. Lately p-adic numbers have attracted a great deal of attention in modern theoretical physics as a promising new approach for describing the non-Archimedean geometry of space-time at small distances. This is the first book to deal with applications of p-adic numbers in theoretical and mathematical physics. It gives an elementary and thoroughly written introduction to p-adic numbers and p-adic analysis with great numbers of examples as well as applications of p-adic numbers in classical mechanics, dynamical systems, quantum mechanics, statistical physics, quantum field theory and string theory.

Complex Analytic Methods For Partial Differential Equations An Introductory Text written by Heinrich G W Begehr and has been published by World Scientific Publishing Company this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 1994-11-15 with Mathematics categories.
This is an introductory text for beginners who have a basic knowledge of complex analysis, functional analysis and partial differential equations. Riemann and Riemann-Hilbert boundary value problems are discussed for analytic functions, for inhomogeneous Cauchy-Riemann systems as well as for generalized Beltrami systems. Related problems such as the Poincaré problem, pseudoparabolic systems and complex elliptic second order equations are also considered. Estimates for solutions to linear equations existence and uniqueness results are thus available for related nonlinear problems; the method is explained by constructing entire solutions to nonlinear Beltrami equations. Often problems are discussed just for the unit disc but more general domains, even of multiply connectivity, are involved.
