Premalatha M is serving as a Senior Associate Professor in the School of Computer Science and Engineering, Vellore Institute of Technology Chennai. She has received her B.E in Computer Science and Engineering degree from Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai in 2002, M.Tech in Advanced Computing degree from SASTRA University, Tanjore in 2004 and Ph.D in Computer Science and Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai in 2020. She has more than 19 years of teaching experience. She has published 24 research articles in the International, National Journals and Conferences. Her research interests include Educational Data Mining, Recommender Systems, Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning and Deep Learning.
