God's country isn't found on a map. It's found in His presence. From Best-Selling Author John Eckhardt... When God delivered the people of Israel, He brought them into a good land, flowing with milk and honey. The good land is a picture of kingdom living. As the people of God, we enter the good land through Jesus Christ and possess it by faith. The good land is a place of blessing, redemption, and restoration. It is a land of goodness, abundance, prosperity, excellence, refreshing, beauty, nourishment, blessing, satisfaction, plenty, and glory. In it, we inherit and enjoy the promises of God. The good land is God's country. The good land is the kingdom. Using biblical and prophetic teaching, this book will give you a revelation of the peace, joy, and righteousness you can dwell in when you understand that you dwell in the good land. God promised the land to Abraham and his seed, and now through Christ, everyone can dwell in the land God has given--the land where all of the promises of God are yes and amen (2 Cor. 1:20). The good land is God's country. The good land is the kingdom. Get the revelation of what it means to dwell in the land God has ordained for your life, and endless peace, joy, goodness, refreshing, and satisfaction will be yours for the rest of your days.

Deuteronomy is one of those forgotten books of the Bible. People talk about those lost books of the Bible, but why worry about those, if they don't know what is in the books Moses wrote, and why he wrote them? Deuteronomy should be referred to as the book of REVIEW. In his book, Moses wrote about what happened during that forty year journey through the wilderness. Moses kept repeating the word remember, to tell Israel how to look back. We have to remember one thing about the audience Moses addressed on the plain overlooking to Jordan River. Moses addressed the younger generation. Their parents died in the wilderness because they were afraid to follow God into the promised land. They died because they were afraid to accept the priesthood God offered them one month after leaving Egypt. Jesus had to die to restore that offer. But today, this world is filled with people carrying that same fear as they wander their self made wilderness of sin, greed, and the worst giant to face, self. Moses had a unique way of telling Israel to remember. A code word telling Israel to look back. Israel had to remember the days they spent in Egypt as children. Moses knew their memories were limited, and many details died in that wilderness. That is why it was more important for the second generation to remember and teach future generations what it meant to be a slave living in a nation sin. Moses had a second code word, "when you enter the promised land." That told Israel to look ahead. Those code words tell us when to look back, or forward to the New Testament for additional information about the lessons Moses taught. Moses was a teacher who spent his last days on earth teaching his children, the people he cared for and comforted for forty years, how to survive in the promised land. We are told, getting into the Promised Land is the easy part, and too often ignore books like Deuteronomy. I'm not sure why those books Moses wrote are ignored these days. After writing this book, I learned why Moses used to be referred to as God's greatest prophet in the Old Testament. I've grown to respect the man because of what he accomplished, but most of all, his ability to explain the relationship he had with God. This is NOT a self help book based on the Bible. It is a book Moses wrote, telling us how to let God lead. This is a book telling us how to do one of the most difficult things we will ever be asked to do, look back on our lives of sin and slavery with totally honesty, then teach others what we've learned. After that, we are ready to take a refreshing look at the New Testament, with its clear and concise explanations of God's promises.

A Doubter S Guide To Jesus written by John Dickson and has been published by Zondervan Academic this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2018-02-06 with Religion categories.

Who was Jesus? Historical sources portray a person who was complex, multi-layered, and often contradictory to the tidy portrait that much of modern Christianity paints him as. Even the gospel accounts render him as both judge and healer, teacher and temple, servant and savior. A Doubter's Guide to Jesus is a persuasive and often challenging investigation into the historical figure found in the earliest sources. These sources, which include references both direct and indirect—from Roman, Jewish, and Christian accounts—offer us more than simple evidence that Jesus existed; they begin to form a picture that is both deeply credible and profoundly counterintuitive. Each chapter explores the evidence for a different aspect of the most influential figure in human history, exploring: His words and their impact. The scandal of his social life. His preference for the poor and lowly. The meaning of his death and influence of his promises. The goal is not to turn Jesus into something neater, more systematic and digestible; but to see him more clearly as someone who stretches our imaginations, confronts our beliefs, and challenges our lifestyles. After two millennia of spiritual devotion and more than two centuries of modern critical research, we still cannot fit Jesus into a box—and this is as challenging as it is deeply compelling.
