Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2006 im Fachbereich Germanistik - Neuere Deutsche Literatur, Note: 1,5, Carl von Ossietzky Universität Oldenburg, Veranstaltung: Sexualität und Gesellschaft im literatur- und sozialwissenschaftlichen Diskurs II, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: [...] Galt die Jugendtragödie nach seiner schriftlichen Publikation 1891 lediglich als Pornographie, so wurde sie nach ihrer Uraufführung fünfzehn Jahre später in Berlin als Warnung vor einer entnaturierten Gesellschaft gesehen. Mit der Verbreitung der Sexuallehre Freuds fand zunächst die Behauptung, Jugendliche und auch Kinder, besäßen eine Sexualität, Schritt für Schritt Anerkennung in der Gesellschaft. Auch die verbreitete Doppelmoral der Erwachsenen, welche in der Wilhelminischen Ära die für Männer erfahrbaren Möglichkeiten der käuflichen Triebbefriedigung außerhalb der Ehe tolerierten, wurde mit Begin des 20. Jahrhundert enttarnt und kritisiert. Das Stück Frühlings Erwachen stellte in der öffentlichen Meinung die Folgen der Prüderie und sexuellen Unterdrückung für die Adoleszierenden dar. Diese Folgen wurden zunächst als Perversionen der sexuellen Norm wahrgenommen, welche in der naturfernen Erziehung der Jugendlichen begründet lägen. Die Literaturkritik sah in den sexuellen Handlungen der Adoleszierenden entartete Sexualität, die aus der Verschweigungshaltung der bürgerlichen Gesellschaft resultierte. In Anbetracht der Tatsache, dass Wedekind auf dem neuesten Stand der zeitgenössischen Sexualpsychologie gewesen ist, stellt sich die Frage, inwiefern auch die soziologischen Aspekte der Adoleszenz in seiner Tragödie umgesetzt wurden. Da bis heute nicht geklärt ist, ob Wedekind von Freud lernte oder gleichzeitig mit ihm zu den selben Schlussfolgerungen über die Sexualität von Jugendlichen kam, ist es nicht Bestandteil dieser Arbeit, herauszufinden, ob seine Ausführungen auf ihm bekannten wissenschaftlichen Vätern basiert. Im Zentrum dieser Arbeit soll die Frage stehen, welche Phänomene der männlichen Sozialisation im Stück Erwähnung finden und inwiefern sie durch den aktuellen Forschungsstand wissenschaftlich belegbar sind. Die Beschränkung auf die männliche Sozialisation erfolgt auf der Basis, dass die männlichen Jugendlichen zunächst zahlreicher sind als die weiblichen und dass wesentlich mehr Szenen eine rein männliche Gruppe oder ein männliches Paar darstellen. Um die sexuellen Aspekte der männlichen Sozialisation hinreichend analysieren zu können, müssen zuvor Rahmenbedingungen wie der einzuübende Geschlechtshabitus und der Einfluss der Peer Group auf die sexuellen Erlebnisse erläutert werden. Bașar Alabay untersucht die Zusammenhänge zwischen türkischer geschlechtsspezifischer Erziehung junger Männer und deren Gewaltbereitschaft und Gewaltausübung. In der türkischen und kurdischen Gesellschaft in der Türkei und in den Zuwanderungsländern in Westeuropa haben Männer bestimmte Privilegien, die jedoch mit dem Zwang verbunden sind, nach außen stets eine bestimmte Form von Männlichkeit zu wahren. Bei Jungen erfolgt um die Zeit des Schuleintritts ein Wechsel aus der weiblichen in eine männliche Sphäre - durch die Beschneidung werden sie zu einem „Mann“ gemacht. Der Autor analysiert, wie der dabei empfundene Schmerz, der abrupte Übergang aus einer weiblichen in eine männliche Welt Jungen zwingen kann, Gewalt anzuwenden, um die ihnen (vermeintlich) zustehende Achtung durch Jüngere und Frauen einzufordern. Für die aktuelle Diskussion über Gewalt von Jugendlichen und jungen Männern der zugewanderten Bevölkerung liefert er somit neue Perspektiven.
