Fue gracias a la dificultad de la vida, que A.T Still tuvo que replantearse la forma de entender al ser humano y tratar la enfermedad. Pero cuando quiso contar todas esas verdades nada fue fácil, el mundo médico, familiares y amigos le cerraron las puertas y le trataron de loco. Fue en este momento de dificultad cuando apareció en Andrew la intuición de que lo que decía era cierto, que siguió gracias a que era un buscador incansable de su verdad, de su propio camino, lo que le convirtió en un “loco” de la anatomía para poder demostrar su verdad. Y a medida que iba observando y comprendiendo la anatomía se iba dando cuenta de la perfección del ser humano, diseñado por un Creador cuya sabiduría es absoluta y que está presente en todas sus creaciones. Serán estas ideas básicas las que acompañarán a Andrew Taylor Still en la creación de un nuevo concepto de salud, intuyendo y luego verificando que todos los remedios necesarios para la curación están en el cuerpo humano. La sabiduría del cuerpo es absoluta. El problema y la solución están siempre en él. Como osteópatas necesitamos rescatar y continuar lo que un día nos dejó nuestro Viejo Doctor.
