Basic Linear Algebra is a text for first year students, working from concrete examples towards abstract theorems, via tutorial-type exercises. The topics are covered in the traditional order: linear systems, matrix algebra, vector spaces, linear transformations, orthogonality, and the eigenvalue/eigenvector problem.
