The doctrine of theosis means a salvation that is the deification of the saved. The saved actually become God. This unusual doctrine lies at the heart of Nicholas of Cusa's (1401-1464) mystical metaphysics. It is here examined for the first time as a theme in its own right, along with its implications for Cusanus's doctrine of God, his theological anthropology, and his epistemology.

Mystics are those who seek a direct experience of the Presence of God, and mysticism is the vital, animating element of every religion. The spiritual marriage, the mystics say, is not merely a conforming to the ways and will of God but a total transforming of the soul into God. And this is the heart of the teaching that one only whispers: The soul that is transformed into God is God.

You are not God. I am not. Jesus said, 'I AM, ' but we cannot say that - not yet. However, if we wish to live with God forever, we must become God. "Becoming God," in this case means we must enhance her. We must complement her Moral Essence. This book is a guide to 'Becoming God, ' but only if you believe in her and eternal life in Spirit-Soul form. If so, we would welcome you to become an eternal Mental Cell, i.e. 'Soul' of her Consciousness. If you do not become God, you won't have any regrets. You won't have anything at all. God will forget you ever existed. You only exist now as a "time being" and only in God's Mind. SHE can re-member and re-cognize you forever, or forget you completely. It's your choice. This book will help you make the proper, informed choice, IF you care to give it a try. And, by the way, there is no such thing as 'luck' when it comes to serious matters. May you be blessed with that tidbit of wisdom and much more in reading our book. It's our book, because it is God's book. Amen.

Becoming GODS INSTRUMENT is a book, a manual, for those who have been weighed down by fear and indecision in taking the next step towards righteousness. In it, the author provides a step-by-step guide that readers need to follow to awaken or rekindle their faith. In addition, real-life instances are cited to demonstrate that God Almighty uses the insignificant things to confound the wiseand in this regard, the author quotes copiously from the Bible to buttress every point he raises: the example of Prophet Samuel, Gideon, Joseph who rescued the Israelites from Egypt and so on. In this age and time when the Devil, ever deceptive, is searching for those to devour and lure to destruction, Evangelist Eguamwenses book is the sure antidote, as the author, himself, tells the reader in unmistakable terms that you can actually become Gods instrument that will effect a breakthrough in peoples lives. This makes the book engrossing, interesting and easy to follow.

On Becoming God Late Medieval Mysticism And The Modern Western Self written by Ben Morgan and has been published by Fordham Univ Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2013 with Body, Mind & Spirit categories.

Do we have to conceive of ourselves as isolated individuals, inevitably distanced from other people and from whatever we might mean when we use the word God? On Becoming God offers an innovative approach to the history of the modern Western self by looking at human identity as something people do together rather than on their own. Ben Morgan argues that the shared practices of human identity can be understood as ways of managing and keeping at bay the impulses and experiences associated with the word God. The "self" is a way of doing things, or of not doing things, with "God." The book draws on phenomenology (Heidegger), gender studies (Beauvoir, Butler) and contemporary neuroscience to present a new approach to the history of modern identity. It surveys existing approaches to modern selfhood (Foucault, Charles Taylor) and proposes an alternative account by investigating late medieval mysticism, in particular texts written in Germany by Meister Eckhart and others in the same milieu. Reactions to the condemnation of Meister Eckhart's teaching for heresy in 1329 offer a microcosm of the circumstances in which something like the modern self arises as people change their behavior toward others, toward themselves, and toward what they call "God." The book makes Meister Eckhart and his contemporaries appear as our contemporaries by changing the assumptions with which we approach our own identity. To make this change requires a revision of current vocabularies for approaching ourselves, and in particular the vocabulary and habits inherited from psychoanalysis. The book finishes by exploring the parallel between late medieval confessors and their spiritual charges, and late-nineteenth-century psychoanalysts and their patients. The result is a renewed vision of the Freud's project of finding a vocabulary for acknowledging and nurturing our everyday commitments to others and to our spiritual longings.

Becoming God creates a fictional world of freedom where one can make anything possible by believing in oneself. The story revolves around the protagonist, Parnog, a sales professional. Things change when Parnog is drawn into a strange world and realizes he is no ordinary human being but an extension of the creators of our galaxy. He was created for a purpose—to save the world from negative forces. He is one of seven people selected to do this. However, he is the only one aware of the purpose. Parnog learns about life, people, relationships, and things about himself during the journey. He makes new friends with people from the alien world and earth. Will Parnog find the other six people? Will he be able to become GOD? Will he succeed in what he wishes to? Every choice you make makes you either strong or weak, but even weakness teaches you how to build again. Humans were never weak, it was a choice they made, and they made a negative one. Do you think the choice you make next will get you something? Choose wisely.

Becoming God S Children written by M. D. Faber and has been published by Bloomsbury Publishing USA this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2010-04-15 with Religion categories.

M. D. Faber presents a meticulous, unremitting inquiry into the psychological direction from which Christianity derives its power to attract and hold its followers. Becoming God's Children: Religion's Infantilizing Process was written, its author says, to alert readers to the role of infantilization in the Judeo-Christian tradition generally and in Christian rite and doctrine particularly. Because religion plays such an important role in so may lives, it is essential to understand the underlying appeal and significance of religious doctrines. To that end, Becoming God's Children offers the reader an in-depth account of human neuropsychological development, while unearthing the Judeo-Christian tradition's explicitly infantilizing doctrines and rites. This compelling perspective on the nature and meaning of religious behavior explores issues such as: to what extent religious faith is grounded in the mnemonic recesses of the worshipper's brain, whether believers are predisposed by both genetic makeup and environmental prompting to adhere to their religious convictions, and why some individuals are powerfully drawn to religious faith while others reject it. A final chapter explores the implications of religion's infantilizing process vis-a-vis the role of reason and scientific thought in the contemporary world.
