More than ever before in the history of man, the divine concept of family in today’s world has been so misunderstood and abused. From these misunderstandings and abuse, are the numerous problems we witness in homes today (divorce, separation, violence, unforgiveness, hate, same sex marriage, lust, secret kids, dislike/outright rejection of marriage by younger generation, etc.). With time, these problems are multiplied and directly infused into our society, turning our society into a chaotic arena. This book brings to light, years of divine revelation on marriage and family. Furthermore, personal experiences that the authors have learned from, are used to expose more on the plan of God for family. The book will dig deep into the divine role each member of the family has to play, to create and experience ‘the Christ centered family’ that God intended for every marriage and family.

Called To Bless written by John Rice and has been published by Wipf and Stock Publishers this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2024-05-23 with Religion categories.

Humans were created to bless one another, those they love and those they do not. According to Scripture (Num 6:27), God promises to release more of his blessings, more of his goodness, grace, and love into the world. In Hebrew the word for “bless” means “God’s intention.” When people speak words of blessing, in God’s name, they are praying for the fullness of God’s intentions to be released into their lives. In a world where division and polarization are becoming normative, God gives a “new” ministry resource—blessing ministry. The power of blessing can bridge those gaps and bring healing to the individuals involved. There is no individual situation, no community need where blessing prayers are not beneficial. Wherever there is joy and celebration in people’s lives, blessing prayers bring only more joy and thanksgiving. There is an awakening in the lives of God’s people wherever the ministry of blessing is being taught and practiced. Communities are experiencing greater health. Churches are becoming more alive. Hearts are being healed and lives transformed, simply by blessing others in Jesus’ name. God is calling his people to become a people of blessing!

Have you ever heard someone say, I can be a perfectionist or I can be critical or I have a bad temper? Have you ever considered which sins were in the tomb with Jesus before he was resurrected on the third day? I am sure that many have not considered it. In Living Beyond the Grave, Bruno R. Giamba examines how perfectionism, critical/vengeful spirit, and anger are more than simply a personality trait or something that has been adopted by a family context. As we examine systematic theology, we discover that Jesus was the curse for the law (Gal. 3:13). Salvation cannot be attained by keeping a perfect law but only through trusting in the person and work of Christ. An overwhelming majority of Christians are still attempting to please God by keeping a record. They strive to be perfect. Perfectionism is in the grave. Is there no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus? (Rom. 8:1) Then why are Christians more likely to condemn others rather than pray for others? Did Jesus not take on the cup of wrath for mankind? (Matt. 26:39) Yet why are more Christians living in anger? Is it possible that most Christians excuse their sin by blaming a personality trait or a past family context? We must not allow this! Its time for all Christians to take the responsibility that we are living in the grave and need to live beyond the grave I believe there is great hope for the body of Christ when individuals take their sin to the feet of Jesus and begin to believe that Christ can set them free! As freedom reigns, Christians will live beyond the grave!
