The purpose of this book, “Before Creation, Planet Life, After Life,” is to cause readers, especially Christians, to search for a broader perspective of Scriptures referencing man’s existence before and after death. I hope this work will initiate more thought as to when, where, and how we fit into God’s mind and final plans for us. If we embark upon this search looking at Scripture through traditional lenses, we will miss seeing the things of God, by the faith of God. He is the one who invited us saying, “If any man lacks wisdom (knowledge on any subject), let him ask of God who gives to all men liberally (holds nothing back from us)!” Yet, there are many church leaders who warn their parishioners against asking God questions concerning those things which plague their souls, even though the book of Job is a good example that God is not intimidated by our questions. Considering Job’s experience and reverence for God, while searching for answers, I believe the result of our seeking and asking will bring us the comfort and steadfastness that we so desperately need in our times of sorrow and disconnectedness. It may give us that “blessed assurance” that we have been, are, and will be “forever with the Lord!” We’re not strangers to Him, because He said that He chose us in Him (knew us) “before the foundation of the world” was laid. (Ephesians 1:4)

Have you ever wondered why there is such a huge discrepancy between what scientists say about the age of our planet and what the Bible says? According to scientists, the planet is 4.6 billion years old. Yet the Bible says that this planet Earth is only six thousand years old. But what if both were right? What if there was an analysis of creation that combined science with scripture in the search for truthyielding a unique and provocative conclusion about lifes beginning? In The Re-Creation of Planet Earth and the Real Account of Lifes Beginnings, author Brian Donnelly explores just this integration of science and biblical truth to provide a more realistic account of creation and re-creation. He addresses the ongoing debate between creation science and evolutionary biology, and he shows how creation is more viable than evolutionary theory and the big bang. The Re-Creation of the Planet Earth and the Real Account of Lifes Beginnings also speaks to the life and ministry of Jesus Christ, and it provides a detailed description of what heaven is likean account supported by scripture and near-death experiences. Having a complete view of creation, re-creation, heaven, and lifes beginnings will help you better understand how God relates to us today. But even more, this understanding can go on to help you see through the fog of the world and better relate to God as a believer.

The One Planet Life demonstrates a path for everyone towards a way of life in which we don’t act as if we had more than one planet Earth. The difference between this approach and others is that it uses ecological footprint analysis to help to determine how effective our efforts are. Much of the book is a manual – with examples – on how to live the 'good life' and supply over 65% of your livelihood from your land with mostly positive impacts upon the environment. It examines the pioneering Welsh policy, One Planet Development, then considers efforts towards one planet living in urban areas. After a foreword by BioRegional/One Planet Living co-founder Pooran Desai and an introduction by former Welsh environment minister Jane Davidson, the book contains: An essay arguing that our attitude to planning, land and development needs to change to enable truly sustainable development. Guidelines on finding land, finance, and creating a personal plan for one planet living. Detailed guides on: sustainable building, supplying your own food, generating renewable energy, reducing carbon emissions from travel, land management, water supply and waste treatment. 20 exemplary examples at all scales – from micro-businesses to suburbs – followed by Jane Davidson’s Afterword. The book will interest anyone seeking to find out how a sustainable lifestyle can be achieved. It is also key reading for rural and built environment practitioners and policy makers keen to support low impact initiatives, and for students studying aspects of planning, geography, governance, sustainability and renewable energy.

Probabilistic safety assessment methods are used to calculate nuclear power plant durability and resource lifetime. Successful calculation of the reliability and ageing of components is critical for forecasting safety and directing preventative maintenance, and Probabilistic safety assessment for optimum nuclear power plant life management provides a comprehensive review of the theory and application of these methods. Part one reviews probabilistic methods for predicting the reliability of equipment. Following an introduction to key terminology, concepts and definitions, formal-statistical and various physico–statistical approaches are discussed. Approaches based on the use of defect-free models are considered, along with those using binomial distribution and models based on the residual defectiveness of structural materials. The practical applications of probabilistic methods for strength reliability are subsequently explored in part two. Probabilistic methods for increasing the reliability and safety of nuclear power plant components are investigated, as are the use of such methods for optimising non-destructive tests, hydraulic tests, technical certification and planned-preventative maintenance. Finally, the book concludes with information on the use of probabilistic methods in ensuring leak tightness of nuclear power plant steam generator heat exchanger pipes. With its distinguished authors, Probabilistic safety assessment for optimum nuclear power plant life management is a valuable reference for all nuclear plant designers, operators, nuclear safety engineers and managers, as well as academics and researchers in this field. Discusses the theory and application of probabilistic safety assessment methods used to calculate nuclear power plant (NPP) durability and lifetime Reviews probabilistic methods in their application to NPP components and ageing pipelines for the forecasting of NPP resource lifetime and safety Addresses the key areas of probabilistic safety analysis, optimization of the operations through in-service inspection (ISI) utilising non-destructive testing, and maintenance, service and repair approaches

Two adventurers from another planet come to earth seeking information about the afterlife. They solicit help from a young earth boy and after telling him about their planet he agrees to help. They are joined by a leadership personality and an intellectual personality from the far away planet. They begin a fantasy journey to learn about immortality and the afterlife from any source available. They have the ability to visit any time and any place in their search for things that have been written or spoken. They discover things that are known by religions about creation and the beginning of life and about the afterlife but cannot understand some of them. They are joined by a faith personality from their planet who has perceived their confusion. These six distinctly different personalities explore information from various sources and discuss some ramifications of their findings. They learn doctrines and theories about creation and immortality and the many forms that afterlife might take. They search for and find truth in many forms. The story is not only about finding information but also the thought processes involved to understand the information. An important facet of the story is the fact that non-humans think differently than humans and ask different questions. This story is about the acceptance of truth. After their search for the "afterlife" has generated more questions than answers they turn to a search for the "meaning of life." This story is about their adventures and their conclusions regarding religion and the meaning of life. It is told using playful and sometimes irreverent dialogue. The tale is made more interesting with the inclusion of illustrations by the very talented artist Penny Moroney.
