L'autrice mette in forma un'antologia di lavori di Cherubino Gambardella elaborati tra il 1987 e il 2007 e li suddivide in cinque categorie: Effimero, Trasformazione, Nuovo, Interni, Riflessioni. Brevi saggi critici introducono i temi legati a ciascun gruppo di progetti con l'obiettivo di mettere in luce invarianti concettuali e variabili creative di trentasette composizioni di architettura. 100 drawings, 129 pictures, 5 short essays, 37 projects elaborated for 21 sites. The authoress selects an anthology of projects elaborated from 1987 to 2007 by Cherubino Gambardella dividing them in five categories: Ephemeral, Transformation, New, Interior and Thinking. Short essays introduce the themes linked to the different group of works with the aim to put in light never changing concepts and creative variations of thirty-seven architectural compositions. Cherubino Gambardella (Napoli, 1962), architetto dal 1987, è professore ordinario di Progettazione Architettonica presso la Facoltà di Architettura Luigi Vanvitelli della Seconda Università degli studi di Napoli. In quasi venti anni di carriera, ha scritto dieci libri e molti saggi in volumi, cataloghi e riviste europee. Il suo lavoro progettuale è stato accolto con favore da critici e intellettuali d'architettura come Bruno Zevi, Stefano Ray, Franco Purini e pubblicato su prestigiose riviste. Due monografie sono state dedicate al suo lavoro: Geografie Parallele (Clean, Napoli, 2001) e Cherubino Gambardella. Architettura e progetti 2000-2005 (Skira, Milano, 2005). Ha tenuto conferenze in molte Università italiane e straniere e seminari per gli studenti della Catholic University of Washington, della Escola Tècnica Superior de Arquitectura de Barcelona, dell'ETH di Zurigo. Suoi progetti, installazioni e disegni sono stati esposti in musei, fondazioni e istituti di cultura europei, americani e asiatici. È consulente di diversi enti pubblici e società private per l'immagine architettonica e ambientale. During twenty years of work, he publishes ten volumes and a lot of essays in books, catalogues and European reviews.
