The author has been reading and analyzing who Jesus was and is and forever from holy scriptures, other mystics, channelings, and other worldwide web of information. Ms. Juanita de Guzman Gutierrez studied and graduated with bachelor and masters degrees in education. And she pondered her spiritual awakening. After more than thirty-three years of school, teaching in the Philippiness and in New York Citys public and private schools, she entered the monastery to discern a call to the religious life. She stayed in the cloistered and contemplative monastery for three years and three months. Ms. Gutierrez was admitted as a prepostulant, postulant, and then as a novice of the congregation who prayed five times a day. Ms. Gutierrez was assigned sacred jobs, such as officiant or leader of songs, bell ringer, scripture reader, assistant to the dispenser, cleaner, embroiderer, and preparer of fruits and vegetables. She had to come out and leave the monastery for two reasons: First, her beloved mother was taken sick. Second, it was not Gods holy will that Sister Juanita becomes a nun. This book is a personal, spiritual, and scholastic journey of Ms. Gutierrez through life. She had traveled around the world and experienced different cultures and studied miracles that happened in the planet. What struck her mind is how universal the greatest man who ever lived on earth, Jesus the Christ, is. He is internationally known and loved and celebrated as well as vilified and mocked. This book will bear on these analyses. Take this journey with Ms. Gutierrez. It gave her tears rolling down her cheeks when these words were etched in her mind, The greatest Jewish priest that ever lived, Jesus, was killed for his peaceful doctrine.

The figure of Mary Magdalen has fascinated and perplexed people for centuries. She is portrayed in the Gospels as a neurotic woman, possibly with a past, yet she is the first to encounter the risen Christ and he charges her with the responsibility of proclaiming the resurrection. She is therefore Christianity's first evangelist - a difficult concept for churches with exclusively male hierarchies who prefer to think of her as just a reformed prostitute. The belief that Mary Magdalen was married to Jesus and that the Church has tried to suppress this truth was not invented in recent years but is almost as old as Christianity itself. This gives a grand tour through 2000 years history, art and tradition with surprises and discoveries all the way.

An in-depth investigation of the facts and mythology surrounding the historical Mary Magdalene • Reveals new details about the life of the beloved of Jesus • Illustrated with rare and unusual imagery depicting Mary’s central role in Christianity • By the author of the bestselling The Woman with the Alabaster Jar The controversy surrounding Mary Magdalene and her relationship to Jesus has gained widespread international interest since the publication of Dan Brown’s novel The Da Vinci Code, which specifically cites Margaret Starbird’s earlier works as a significant source. In Mary Magdalene, Bride in Exile Starbird examines the many faces of Mary Magdalene, from the historical woman who walked with Jesus in the villages of Judea to the mythic and symbolic Magdalene who is the archetype of the Sacred Feminine. Starbird reveals exciting new information about the woman who was the most intimate companion of Jesus and offers historical evidence that Mary was Jesus’ forgotten bride. Expanding on the discussion of medieval art and lore introduced in her bestselling book The Woman with the Alabaster Jar, Starbird sifts through the layers of misidentification under which the story of the Lost Bride of Christ has been buried to reveal the slandered woman and the “exiled” feminine principle. She establishes the identity of the historical female disciple who was the favored first witness of the Resurrection and provides an interpretation of Mary’s true role based on prophecy from the Hebrew scriptures and the testimony of the canonical gospels of Christianity. Balancing scholarly research with theological reflection, she takes readers deeper into the story and mythology of how Magdalene as the Bride embodies the soul’s own journey in its eternal quest for reunion with the Divine.

Beloved Disciple written by Robin Griffith-Jones and has been published by HarperOne this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2008-09-09 with Religion categories.

Here, Griffith-Jones (Master of the Temple Church, London; The Four Witnesses: The Rebel, the Rabbi, the Chronicler, and the Mystic) takes a trendy Da Vinci Code topic and provides the scriptural and historical background that gave writers like Dan Brown license to cast Mary Magadalene as Jesus's presumed wife. Following a Gospel survey paying special attention to John's treatment of Mary, Griffith-Jones turns his focus to Gnostic works of the second and third centuries, and herein lies the work's primary strength. Unlike Susan Haskin in the impressive cultural history Mary Magdalene: Truth and Myth, Griffith-Jones here situates Mary in the canonical Christian scripture and then demonstrates Gnosticism's imaginative use of Mary as a site of incarnational theology, sexual dimorphism, and Sophia/Wisdom in creation. In the last chapter, he considers her evolution in aesthetic and cultural terms, with illustrations charting her evolution from repentant prostitute into an eroticized sexual figure embodying physical intimacy with the risen Christ. In Mary, claims Griffith-Jones, we glimpse our fundamental striving to understand what it means to be an embodied human being. An accessible read whose greatest usefulness is its Gnostic analysis; recommended.--Sandra Collins, Byzantine Catholic Seminary Lib., Pittsburgh Copyright © Reed Business Information, a division of Reed Elsevier Inc. Jesus King Of Edessa written by Ralph Ellis and has been published by Edfu Books this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2012 with History categories.

Jesus was a king of Edessa 600 pages of gnosis. Colour Images. This is the book that the Catholic Church has been dreading for the last 1700 years. This is the book that will end Christianity as we know it. And this is not advertising hyperbole, this really is the end of the Christian fairytale. We now know who Jesus was. Visit his city, see the ruins of his citadel, gaze upon his statue, handle his coins. In reality, Jesus was a son of King Abgarus of Edessa, a king with a small realm, a large treasury, and even bigger ambitions. Thus Jesus' true history undermines much of the biblical fairystory that the gospel authors crafted, and so Christianity will never be the same again. The jacket image shows Jesus wearing his Crown of Thorns, the ceremonial crown of the Edessan monarchy. We suggest that readers start with 'Cleopatra to Christ' and then 'King Jesus'. The wait before arriving at the last episode in the trilogy will be worthwhile, for if a book could be valued on its 'eureka moments' then this final book would be priceless. The 'King Jesus Trilogy' Latest version v12.1 2024 Book three of the King Jesus Trilogy (in four parts). Followed by 'The Grail Cypher'. .

Short devotional writings on Christ and the church, His beloved bride. The book begins with looking at the example of the beloved puritan pastor Christopher Love and his wife Mary, their single-eyed devotion to Christ and love for one another in the context of martyrdom. The ensuing devotionals flesh out the question, "If husbands are to love their wives as Christ did the church, how exactly has Christ loved His bride?" And secondly, "What are the duties of the bride of Christ to her heavenly Husband?" The short work is a melding together of thoughts from the Scriptures upon marriage, martyrdom, and missions.

Rabboni My Love written by June Kerr and has been published by this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2012 with Fiction categories.

What If Jesus Had Married and Had Children? For centuries, speculation has circled around the figure of Mary Magdalene and her role in Jesus' life. Now author June Kerr has written a daring new novel that treats Mary Magdalene as Jesus' wife and the mother of his children, and "Why not?" she asks. "If Jesus were the Son of God, choosing to have an earthly experience, would it not include Adam's first experience, that of needing a partner which seems to be a ubiquitous human desire, to find and have a true mate, a true complement with whom he could create, be fruitful, and multiply?" Building upon the latest scholarship, Kerr has filled in many of the missing pieces of the gospels, creating scenarios as autobiographical moments in Jesus' life that help to explain the sources behind his parables and ministry and the complicated political, religious, and family relationships of the people in his life. But most importantly, readers are offered the stunning portrait of a very real man who believed in love and a loving God, who was willing to lay down his life for his friend, and who continued striving for what was right and good when those around him could not understand his real purpose as a Messiah. An interview with the author at the end of the novel adds insight into Kerr's fascinating reasons for writing this stunning debut novel. Readers will not only find Rabboni, My Love to be an unforgettable love story and inspiration, but they will come away stronger in their faith and their belief that miracles can happen.
