Inhaltsangabe:Einleitung: Seit jeher ist die Beziehung von Handel und Herstellern durch Wettbewerb geprägt. Konzentrations- und Verdrängungsprozesse auf beiden Seiten sowie wachsende Erwartungen der Konsumenten haben ihren Teil dazu beigetragen, dass es zu einer Verschärfung sowohl des horizontalen als auch des vertikalen Wettbewerbs gekommen ist. Industrie und Handel haben in der Vergangenheit durch ihre wirtschaftsteilige Arbeitsweise jeweils nur das Rationalisierungspotential in der eigenen Wertschöpfungskette ausgeschöpft. Dadurch sind Suboptima entstanden und Einsparmöglichkeiten ungenutzt geblieben, woraus hohe Logistikkosten entlang der gesamten Lieferkette resultieren. Eine vollständige Optimierung des Wertschöpfungsprozesses durch eine Neuorientierung in der Zusammenarbeit zwischen Industrie und Handel, mit dem Ziel einer kooperativen statt konfrontativen Geschäftsbeziehung, könnte einen Ausweg aus dieser Situation und eine Möglichkeit zur Erschließung ungenutzter Potentiale bieten. Dabei muss der Kundenorientierung oberste Priorität eingeräumt werden. Seit Mitte der neunziger Jahre gewinnt in Deutschland der Ansatz des Efficient Consumer Response (ECR) an Bedeutung. Die bislang vorherrschende Konfrontation der beiden Parteien soll beim ECR durch gemeinschaftliche Aktivitäten und Kooperation ersetzt werden. Den Kern dieses Ansatzes bilden auf Synergien gerichtete Kooperationsstrategien und Managementtechniken zur Steigerung der Wettbewerbsfähigkeit aller an der Wertschöpfungskette beteiligten Industrie- und Handelsunternehmen. Im Blickpunkt steht im Gegensatz zu vielen bisherigen Ansätzen, die sich vor allem auf Kostenreduzierungsaspekte konzentrierten, die effiziente Reaktion auf die Kundennachfrage . ECR birgt umfangreiche Einsparpotentiale sowohl für die Hersteller- als auch für die Handelsseite, deren Ausschöpfung allerdings davon abhängt, inwiefern eine neue Qualität der Kooperation erreicht werden kann. Der Analyse der Bestimmungsfaktoren einer erfolgsversprechenden Kooperation kommt daher eine wesentliche Bedeutung zu. Im Rahmen dieser Diplomarbeit soll der Versuch unternommen werden, die Faktoren, die für den Erfolg einer Hersteller-Händler-Kooperation verantwortlich sind, zu ermitteln. Dabei wird zwischen der operativen Dimension in Form der vier ECR-Basisstrategien, der strategischen Dimension, bei der die Aspekte der Kostenreduzierung und der Wachstumsforcierung untersucht werden, und der organisatorischen Dimension, [...]
