Kleine und mittlere Kommunalverwaltungen werden aufgrund ihrer Beschäftigungsstruktur durch Langzeiterkrankungen von Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeitern vor erhebliche Herausforderungen gestellt. Unter Berücksichtigung der rechtswissenschaftlichen Bedeutung des Betrieblichen Eingliederungsmanagements werden die theoretischen Grundlagen und der Verfahrensablauf dargestellt. Die Autorin Franziska Deters möchte mittelständische Unternehmen dabei unterstützen, eigene erfolgreiche BEM-Verfahren aufzubauen und konkrete BEM-Maßnahmen durchzuführen.
