This book begins with the Bible study: Bible Study of Women for Women Through Scriptures. The second study: Bible Study of Women for Women Through Scriptures Volume II continues with the study of women of the Bible as they appear in the Bible. The scriptures in the volume of these two bible studies are presented from different Bible versions. What I did here was merge both studies for those who want to read both studies as one. We started with Eve as our first study and went on to many women like the ones you may have known of and ones you may have never known. Women in the first study, such as Noah's wife, Jacob's women, Abraham's women, Lot's women, Mothers of the Twelve Tribes of Israel, women in the genealogy of Jesus, and women who were named or unnamed and were women of the Bible. We went through women which I thought should have been given a voice. The first study is from Genesis to The Book of Ruth which studied Naomi and Ruth. In volume II we begin with Hannah and continue through the Bible until Mary. All of the studies are interesting. Hannah is a woman in despair and she prays and God listens to her prayer and HIS response to her makes her an interesting figure, to say the least. The study of Queen Vashti and Esther are within the second volume. We find some history of the region as we research Queen Vashti. Esther, the young girl who became Queen is also an interesting study. And we continue to find value in the women we study. Mary, which takes up most of volume II, was a new study for me. I found in research things I did not know about Mary. I encourage all who read these studies to read with an open mind. In volume II we also connect to the women in Jesus' genealogy when we study David's women. We also study Solomon's women, only a few, for he had many, many women. As women we are mothers, sisters, wives and we are all indeed a significant force. Revelation 19:2 NIV, "for true and just are his judgments. He has condemned the great prostitute who corrupted the earth by her adulteries. He has avenged on her the blood of his servants." Imagine, there is more to learn about the significance of women of the Bible. "Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you." Proverbs 4:6 NIV I have found my purpose, although I was not really looking for it. But I have found purpose and I pray with these studies I may lead you to find God's LOVE, Mercy and Grace, forgiveness and God's gift of the Holy Spirit. Peace and love be with you. This is a continued study of Bible Study of Women for Women Through Scriptures. This is Volume II. This study continues with women of the Bible through the scriptures in order of appearance. The scriptures presented in this volume will set you on a course in your studies that will take you beyond the Bible that you know. This study takes you where you will want to look carefully at other Gospels. This study discusses some of the Book of James which is included in the Bible, but it also shares parts of the Infancy Gospel of James which is not included in the Bible. Again, I plea that when you read this study you will read with an open mind. I do believe that what you read may take you on a path of your own. This study can be done individually or it can be used for a group study. What I have not said before is that men can read and react to this study, too. If you have not read the first study, Bible Study of Women for Women Through Scriptures I encourage you to do so. The first study begins with the study of Eve and go on until we reach the last woman studied which is in the book of Ruth in the Bible. With Ruth we study Naomi. This volume begins with the study of Hannah. She was the mother of Samuel, the Prophet. Then we link the Old Testament with the New Testament and the study goes to Mary, the Mother of the Messiah. We take a look at the women in David's life and Solomon's life. We look at Queen Vashti and Esther. This volume has improved by including a Table of Contents, a couple of pages About the Author and a paragraph on Resources used; in addition, to including the within the study. Also included are prayers. This time some prayers that I have written as Chaplin of the American Legion Post 178 in Murrells Inlet, SC are included. Because of the vast material found on Mary, I will continue studies of the women of the Bible in the New Testament in a Volume III. "Dear God thank you for today, yesterday and tomorrow. Thank you for friends and family. Thank you for those people and situations that make me stronger. Thank you Lord, God for your everlasting presence. Be with us as we tackle the tasks ahead of us. Give me the strength to carry on. Give me the strength to comfort those who need comforting. Please send Jesus' healing hand to those who need healing. After publishing I realized I needed to carefully edit my book. I wrote vigorously and I did not focus on the format. This edition focuses on the format. You do not need to be discouraged because of simple formatted mistakes. I want to think that as I became familiar with the software on my computer I was able to look at the publication carefully. The contents are ninety-nine percent the same. This publication does include a Table of Contents page, an Author's page and a Reference page. Although my references are included in the publication they did not have their own page. This is a publication like no other publication out there about the Bible. I continue to find more about the women of the Bible. This is a much needed time for women. This is a much needed time to study the Women of the Bible. These women can be your role models.
