"My Bleeding Paradise" is very close to me and it's a story that we every Pakistani can relate to. We have been long at struggle to resolve the Kashmir dispute and it has undoubtedly been very difficult times for the Kashmiris. The situation has led to several conflicts across the border and we are all aware of the political and financial instability that has consequently developed. This story is a small effort to make the world realize about the Kashmir dispute and hopefully send a positive message.AUTHOR'S BRIEF INTRODUCTION: I am currently working as a House Officer in one of the well-known Government Hospitals of Karachi. Reading and writing have always been my hobbies. I started writing for the local newspaper around the age of 18 years and have found an utmost sense of pleasure and satisfaction in seeing my work getting published and being read and commented by people. At times, it was difficult to balance both studies and my writings but the passion of penning down my words kept me to keep writing and I have ALHAMDULILLAH always found time for it. I believe I have found a voice through my words that will hopefully be read by many

Seventy-one years have passed since Kashmir dispute in the South Asian sub-continent was born, a tragedy that in its immediate aftermath saw killings of thousands of people in 1947 and displacement of millions, particularly from the Jammu region. In its latest reincarnation of about 3 decades of popular resistance movements, nearly 100.000 people have been killed with hundreds of thousands more wounded- both physically and psychologically. Every day consumes yet more lives, destroys more homes causing yet more scars. Geographically located between the two nuclear rivals- India and Pakistan, Jammu and Kashmir have transmuted into a series of tragedies that has left the future of nearly 15 million Kashmiris on both sides of the Line of Control (LoC) uncertain: a major cause of concern for whole of the region and beyond. The purpose of this book is to explain how the Kashmir conflict has come to the present situation and how it becomes a threat to South Asia's peace and to the global security in the twenty-first century. As present increasing tension like war scenario of Indo-pak is indicating. Also, to shed a light on what can be done about this situation. However, this book is structured around five key points. 1.The roots of crisis and how it happened since 1947. Why Late Prime Minister of Kashmir Shaikh Mohammad Abdullah was dismissed and put in prison for ten years without any concrete evidence and what went wrong between Shaikh Abdullah and Late Prime Minister of India Mr Nehru close friend of Shaikh Abdullah and Kashmir himself. What developments took place during that period? Why Shaikh Abdullah agreed to be a chief Minister rather than to be the Prime Minister and how he betrayed the nation. 2.The book explores New Delhi's rigid attitude towards Kashmir and its inhabitants. India, ruled the state through a group of fake and illegitimate politicians of their own creation, for whose vested interests they pushed the state into a deep internal turmoil. Therefore, some important historical facts and episodes have been recorded to establish this fact.3.Special statues of Kashmir in Indian union have been discussed. A change of Indian stance from plebiscite to Integral part of India and role of so-called Kashmiri leadership in this regard.4.How present crisis that erupted in 1989-1990 lie in a post 1947 history of denial of democratic rights and institutions to the people of J&K. Responsibility for destabilizing Jammu and Kashmir state and pushing it into armed conflict lays squarely with Indian Government.5.Denial of right of self of determination granted resolved by United Nations, betrayals and broken promises by so called leaders, plus fraudulent fake elections held in the state were other causes to push the people towards armed struggle.6.While reading this book the readers will come across many episodes such as Pakistan's role during the insurgency, Kargil war, turns and shifts at international level, especially horrific incidents of 9/11, and other events within India and Pakistan and their impact on Kashmir issue, these have been documented only with a view to enable policy makers to draw lessons so that future policies are framed, keeping in view the bitter experiences of the past.7. Some healthy proposals have been put forward for Indian and Pakistan to end the miseries of the Kashmiri people who are suffering for last 70 decades.

"Rahul Pandita was fourteen years old when he was forced to leave his home in Srinagar along with his family, who were Kashmiri Pandits: the Hindu minority within a Muslim-majority Kashmir that was by 1990 becoming increasingly agitated with the cries of 'Azaadi' [freedom] from India. The heartbreaking story of Kashmir has so far been told mainly through the prism of the brutality of the Indian security forces, the pro-independence demands of Muslim separatists or India and Pakistan's rivalry. But there is another part of the story that has remained unrecorded and buried. Our Moon Has Blood Clots is the untold chapter in the story of Kashmir, in which hundreds of thousands of Kashmiri Pandits were tortured, killed and forced to leave their homes by Islamist militants, and to spend the rest of their lives in exile in their own country. Rahul Pandita has written a deeply personal, powerful and unforgettable story of history, home and loss."--Page 4 of cover.

Pakistan has absolutely no claim upon Jammu and Kashmir state by virtue of accession or plebiscite. Her army action was an aggression. Her claiom is just an Anglo-American conspiracy. Her occupation of Indian territory in Kashmir is a violation of the Indian Independence act, 1947, and the International law.
