Excerpt from Boston College Bulletin; October, 1941, Vol. 13: General Catalogue for the School Session 1941-1942 It is clear that institutions of higher learning are faced with the problem, difficult of solution, of training young men for the immediate as well as for the remote future, of training them for a manful part in the great national effort for victory as well as for a world after victory. The urgency of the present and immediate demands on youth calls for courses of instruction that will directly contribute to the efforts of our nation at war; while the future of our own nation as well as the future of youth calls for courses of instruction that will contribute to the well being of both, after the war. For both the war and the peace must be won. About the Publisher Forgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books.
