Fueled by an ambitious capital initiative launched in 2018, these essential and forward-looking changes include more than 500 projects valued at $4 billion over 10 years. The initiative harnesses a mix of innovative funding programs like public-private partnerships, thoughtful use of capital reserves and bonding authority, and generous state funding. Covering completed and ongoing projects, Building Momentum offers a one- or two-page feature on each undertaking that covers its history and purpose while providing specific details about its unit, campus, architect, square footage or renovation size, budget, and LEED or other certifications. Annotation. The one thing I think we as humans have common in life is we all want to be happy. I know that to be true for me. Yet my own observations and belief is for so many of us happiness is always 'out there' somewhere and we spend our whole lives in search of it. I see too many living a life of reaction, totally engulfed in dealing with all the things that come their way on a daily basis be it personally or in business. Passion wanes and life is more about survival than thriving. We are tired, cranky and succumbing to the pressures of daily life. Many feel like a failure with a future that is uncertain and scary. We feel like everything is out of our control. And I sound like I am talking in the third person...I am not. That was me up until about 10 years ago. I had spent my entire working life seeking success personally and in business. On the outside, to most, I had succeeded in both. I had a very successful financial planning business, one of the largest at the time in Australia and was personally achieving many milestones and accolades. On the inside though it was a different story and I was really struggling to find purpose in my life. I was not happy. My life has been one of many highs and lows. One low in particular that I talk about in the book I thought I could never recover from. But now over 25 years have passed since that event. At the time of writing I have over 40 years of corporate and small business ownership experience. Through all that, life has provided me with many gifts that I now have the opportunity to reflect on and share learnings from, to others. I totally believe we all have access to happiness in our own lives. It's the pathway to that happiness that eludes so many of us. One of my biggest lessons has been that it's ok to ask for help.

"It's not how you start that matters, but how you finish" Nowhere is this more true than in our Christian faith. The ultimate goal of reaching Heaven should be the driving force in our lives. But yet, how many times do we get stuck in the minutia of daily life? How many times do we give into self-pity or a feeling of unworthiness? How many times do we simply feel like we are spinning our wheels, perhaps not going backwards, but definitely not moving forward? Momentum makes all the difference. By building momentum, it doesn't matter if you stumble. It doesn't matter if you fall. By building momentum, it you see the process instead of the promises. You make the important connections instead of being sidetracked by life's random events. Here is the practical guide for developing a momentum mindset that connects your faith with real life in a way that supports, motivates, encourages and enhances your efforts along the way. It's a process that focuses squarely not just on who you are, but who you want to become. When you connect the dots, your life comes together When you never give in, you never give out When you seek truth, you find wisdom When you escape your comfort zone, you embrace your purpose When you value your circle of influence, you venture into deeper satisfaction When you insulate your heart, pain can't penetrate When you transform your life, you transmit love

The individual investor's comprehensive guide to momentum investing Quantitative Momentum brings momentum investing out of Wall Street and into the hands of individual investors. In his last book, Quantitative Value, author Wes Gray brought systematic value strategy from the hedge funds to the masses; in this book, he does the same for momentum investing, the system that has been shown to beat the market and regularly enriches the coffers of Wall Street's most sophisticated investors. First, you'll learn what momentum investing is not: it's not 'growth' investing, nor is it an esoteric academic concept. You may have seen it used for asset allocation, but this book details the ways in which momentum stands on its own as a stock selection strategy, and gives you the expert insight you need to make it work for you. You'll dig into its behavioral psychology roots, and discover the key tactics that are bringing both institutional and individual investors flocking into the momentum fold. Systematic investment strategies always seem to look good on paper, but many fall down in practice. Momentum investing is one of the few systematic strategies with legs, withstanding the test of time and the rigor of academic investigation. This book provides invaluable guidance on constructing your own momentum strategy from the ground up. Learn what momentum is and is not Discover how momentum can beat the market Take momentum beyond asset allocation into stock selection Access the tools that ease DIY implementation The large Wall Street hedge funds tend to portray themselves as the sophisticated elite, but momentum investing allows you to 'borrow' one of their top strategies to enrich your own portfolio. Quantitative Momentum is the individual investor's guide to boosting market success with a robust momentum strategy.

Momentary victories and small wins don't last, and the frustration of reclaiming that energy is real. This book shows you how to cultivate a different type of achievement – measureable, sustainable and constant. It's the difference between winning a battle and winning the war, and requires more than a single brilliant move. It's about activity, focus and consistency, and working smarter instead of harder. This insightful guide helps you dig to the core of who and where you are, and start implementing the core practices and characteristics that keep the successes coming. You'll discover the traps that have been pushing you off course, and learn when to push through and when to change course entirely. Case studies illustrate the pitfalls of momentum-traps through the lens of individuals and organisations who ignored early warning signs at their own peril – and ultimately, detriment.
