Menyambut era pelaksanaan Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional ( JKN) di Indonesia di mana sangat banyak hal atau istilah “baru” di dalam pelayanan kedokteran-kesehatan, maka materi yang dibahas dalam buku ajar ini sangat sesuai, dan dapat dipakai sebagai salah satu referensi untuk pembuatan PPK (Panduan Praktik Klinik, “Clinical pathway”, Algoritma dll, dan sangat dapat disesuaikan dengan kemampuan fasilitas kesehatan setempat untuk memberikan pelayanan yang terbaik kepada pasien. Buku Ajar Ilmu Penyakit Dalam Edisi-2 ini akan memuat semua makalah para kontributor dari 8 Sub Bagian/Divisi yaitu Alergi-Immunologi, Endokrinologi-Metabolik, Gastroenterologi-Hepatologi, Hematologi-Onkologi Medik, Nefrologi-Hipertensi, Rematologi, Tropik-Infeksi, Geriatri dan membahas juga Toksikologi. Buku-Ajar Edisi-2 ini mengandung perkembangan Ilmu Penyakit Dalam dan pengalaman klinik para kontributor yang meliputi 127 judul dan akan tercetak 812 halaman (Edisi-1 hanya memuat 64 judul dengan 384 halaman). Buku Ajar Ilmu Penyakit Dalam ini selain dapat menjadi sumber pengetahuan bagi tenaga kesehatan, juga diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pelayanan kesehatan yang aman dan bermutu untuk pasien dan keluarganya di lingkungan RS Pendidikan Dr. Soetomo Surabaya. This is an open access book. Covid-19 has shaped many new perspectives on the order of life around the world. This perspective encourages humans to get used to a life model that is different from the life model before the pandemic era known as the new life order. This new life order will certainly have an impact on all existing aspects, such as health and economic aspects.At a time when this infectious disease continues to spread throughout the world and no one sure when it will end, degenerative diseases continue to show an increasing trend in the number of sufferers from time to time. It has resulted in an increasing burden on health services. So that an effective and efficient solution is needed to control this situation. Degenerative is a disease due to decreased function of the existing systems in the body. It occurs due to hereditary factors, an unhealthy lifestyle or aging. Degenerative diseases occur in all systems, such as the neurological system, cardiovascular system, endocrine system and musculoskeletal system. The result of this disease is a gradual decline in the quality of life of the sufferer. Various disciplines in the health sector have an important role in controlling or preventing this disease. Such as in the fields of medicine, nursing, midwifery, public health and pharmacy. One of the roles that can be shown is from the aspect of health research. Research requires clear consideration in its implementation and have to consider the outputs that obtained from it. Research with broad impact on the control and prevention of degenerative diseases needs benefit of the users such as the community immediately to achieve a healthy and productive society in the Pandemic era of the Covid-19. Various effective and efficient comprehensive approaches need to be studied more deeply to find the best solution, such as implementation of various scientific meetings. One of them is through the idea of implementing the 2022 Tapanuli International Health Conference. This proceeding is the outcome of an international seminar organized by the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto in 2023. This international seminar was called "ISPsy 6th" with the theme "Religiosity and Cultural Diversity for Strengthening Mental Well-Being." From this seminar, it is hoped that preventive, curative, and even rehabilitative programs targeting holistic aspects of mental well-being will be present, providing benefits to the wider community. Manuscripts accepted for ISPsy 6th 2023 amounted to 62% of the total articles collected. This seminar featured several topics including Clinical Psychology, Organizational/Industrial Psychology, Educational Psychology, Social Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Psychometrics, Islamic Studies Related to Human Behavior, Social Science, Education, and Neuroscience. The keynote speech was delivered by Prof. Dr. Muhadjir Effendy, M.A.P as the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Cultural Affairs. Speakers at this international seminar included Dr. Hanan Dover as the Vice President of the International Association of Muslim Psychologists (IAMP), Dr. Rania Awaad, M.D as the Director of the Stanford Muslim Mental Health & Islamic Psychology Lab, Dr. Nor Akmar Nordin as a lecturer in the Department of Psychology, School of Human Resource Development and Psychology, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, and Retno Dwiyanti, M.Si., Ph.D as a lecturer at the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto. This proceeding was able to proceed smoothly thanks to the support and good communication from all parties involved.
