Buku ajar ini bertujuan untuk membekali mahasiswa tentang teknik-teknik berkomunikasi di depan umum sehingga dapat mengirimkan pesan kepada audiens dengan lebih efektif karena menjadi sebuah perhatian bagi seorang public speaker untuk memiliki keterampilan melakukan komunikasi verbal maupun nonverbal yang sesuai dengan acara yang dibawakan serta mampu beradaptasi dengan perubahan yang sekarang sedang melanda dunia melalui wabah virus Covid 19 dengan melakukan public speaking secara online. Buku ajar ini masih banyak kekurangan baik dari segi isi maupun teknis penulisan. Penulis mengharapkan masukan dan saran dari berbagai pihak untuk penyempurnaan buku ajar ini.
