The 21st century is definitely Africa's century, and as the old African saying goes, ''no one should eat what he has earned''. When a continent decides to look ahead, and decides to break with all the prejudices that have been imposed on it with violence, wars and blood, its revolution is certainly expected to be like a nuclear bomb; but in the case of Africa, the evolution of the African continent is like watching an airplane take off or, to be more practical, like launching a rocket straight into the sky. This business intelligence almanac is a guide to better understand the steps being taken on the African continent and, above all, the paths that the future of the richest but at the same time the least developed continent foresees. Technology is a factor that has transformed in recent years some sectors of Africa's economy and industry and at the level of investment attraction, markets have favored the region in recent years before the Covid-19 pandemic crisis. Indeed, in 2019 alone, foreign direct investment to Africa was $47 billion, however, in 2020 the figure declined by 16%. Anything can be expected from the current year 2021 but the numbers just keep going down. It may be that the focus on the terms of wealth generation on the African continent is not the most effective, since it is, as we know, a very rich continent, because there are precisely several factors that condition the generation of wealth in Africa in an orderly and systematic manner. Few countries in the world have a real chance of being free, independent and prosperous as the Republic of Equatorial Guinea. Many regions have missed the opportunity to grow because of many bad decisions, behind which only corruption and ignorance prevailed. To fly without learning to walk is risky enough, but to build a nation without national objectives, without nationalism, patriotism and brotherhood, is to relive the past of subjugation to darkness. It is true, we are all Guineans, but what some people feel for their brothers is often questioned when they oppress with all their decisions, the well-being of a majority that no longer knows how to express itself, that apolitical majority that only asks and demands peace, well-being and prosperity, because it is more than its right. But to talk like this in this country is more than talking about politics, it is offensive to those who tolerate neither justice nor freedom, because to talk about peace is painful for those who destroy peace. Ese destino es el plan divino, el plan de Dios, la obra de sus manos, y nosotros, todos y cada uno somos importantes, elementos de la vida que de Dios emana. Cuando te vas de este mundo no te llevas nada pero lo que dejas a tu paso es mucho amor o mucho dolor, y solo de uno mismo depende. El presente es importante para hacer las cosas bien, y el pasado solo es el recuerdo de nuestros errores y debilidades a lo largo del camino, en forma de experiencias. De Francisco Macías Nguema se habla muy poco Guinea Ecuatorial, y mucho menos en el pasado, en aquellos años ochenta y noventa tras su brutal derrocamiento. Tanto su nombre, su gobierno y su historia eran un tema tabú, y aunque fue el Primer Presidente de la República elegido democráticamente y también el primero en caer en desgracia y perder el apoyo del Pueblo y de las Fuerzas Armadas; aun así, la historia que le prosiguió prefirió enterarle en el olvido. Pero la historia no se puede olvidar, porque solo comprendiendo bien el pasado entendemos mejor el presente para así preparar un mejor futuro. A pesar de contar inicialmente con el apoyo popular, perder el apoyo del Pueblo fue un mérito que Macías se ganó a pulso y con el apoyo de sus más cercanos colaboradores, con fusilamientos masivos, encarcelamientos indiscriminados, opresión y represión política, religiosa e intelectual y en definitiva, muerte a cualquier disidencia u oposición y, a fin de cuentas, se le responsabilizó de todos los crímenes cometidos en un periodo muy oscuro de la historia de Guinea Ecuatorial; un momento en el que un presidente que se creyó todo poderoso e incluso un Dios, se fue dando cuenta de sus limitaciones humanas, mientras que su régimen colapsó. Después de su deposición, los que le conocieron y le apoyaron hasta el mismo momento también le negaron y condenaron como el Santo Pedro hizo con Jesús de Nazaret a la hora de la verdad. Algo increíble sucede cuando decidimos cambiar nuestras vidas y dedicar nuestro esfuerzo, nuestra lucha, en concienciar a la mayoría, a nuestros conciudadanos y contemporáneos sobre la cruda realidad evitable sobre un sistema político y social degradante. Uno de los grandes mitos que los colonos y asesinos han popularizado sobre Acacio Mañe Ela es que ´´es de origen Camerunés´´. Bueno, quizá este pequeño libro no tiene espacio suficiente para recordar que las tierras continentales que ahora forman en interior de los territorios que posteriormente los invasores colonos denominaron Guinea Española, Camerún, Gabón y Congo principalmente, eran las tierras del reino de los Fang en su mayoría, y de tribus hermanas que habitaban las mismas zonas. Todos los fang tienen su origen genealógico y geográfico en estos pueblos formados por familias que se fueron extendiendo a lo largo de las edades y dieron lugar a los diferentes clanes familiares que pueden rastrearse hasta los ancestros comunes; por lo que la invasión colonial no le hizo ningún favor en este sentido, a nadie. De hecho y hasta la actualidad, los habitantes y pobladores de las zonas fronterizas entre Guinea Ecuatorial, Camerún y Gabón son prácticamente las mismas familias, que hablan el mismo lenguaje y con una cultura común, haciendo que esas barreras y fronteras geopolíticas no sean sino una broma irónica del destino, como el colonialismo. Como muchos héroes independentistas africanos, Don Acacio Mañe Ela fue un hombre excepcional, la estrella de una Nación. Don Acacio provenía de uno de esos poblados, del lado de la ya extinta ´´Guinea Española´´ y España sufrió mucho con la pérdida de sus tierras africanas, algo que nunca se contempló y mucho menos ceder la independencia a esos africanos pero, una vez más, el destino siempre impone sus planes. Una observación cuidadosa basada en los hechos nos revela las nefastas consecuencias del imperialismo colonial en la historia contemporánea y post colonial de Guinea Ecuatorial. La realidad histórica de esta joven nación africana siempre se ha visto influenciada por la antigua metrópoli, no en vano es hoy en día el único país de habla hispana en África en medio de países de habla francesa e inglesa. Guinea Ecuatorial, para dejar de ser la antigua Guinea Española, surge del deseo de sublevación de los pueblos nativos de los territorios que hoy forman el país, en un largo proceso de lucha clandestina y de supresión que se hizo más visible desde finales de los años cincuenta del siglo XX. Y uno de los primeros que iniciaron tal sublevación fue Don Acacio Mañe Elá. En ese proceso muchos perdieron sus vidas y por desgracia el gobierno autonómico o de transición independentista organizado por España en su pronta excolonia africana solo sirvió para romper más la unidad entre los nativos pues, la elección de Francisco Masías como el ´´gran triunfo de la Independencia Nacional ‘´ solo trajo una gran sombra sobre la historia del país, la primera de un recorrido de desgracias y caos. Muchos como Masías y la nueva clase de supuestos líderes que cosecharon el beneficio político e histórico de la independencia, nunca lucharon realmente por ella pero eso sí, fueron buenos oportunistas. Don Acacio Mañe era sobre todo, un hombre de Dios de profesión y fe, un buen cristiano y Patriota. Fue traicionado y asesinado, y ni la historia ni el gobierno ecuatoguineano ha exigido formalmente explicaciones y responsabilidades al gobierno español, pero el Pueblo siempre podrá y deberá exigirlo. Ni mil millones de libros podrán plasmar el efecto de la pérdida de un gran líder como Don Acacio Mañe Ela en la historia de Guinea Ecuatorial por ello, este libro no es más que un breve prólogo en la historia de una Estrella, la Estrella de Guinea Ecuatorial.
