Una immaginaria guida accompagna l'autore nell'inferno, purgatorio e paradiso del proprio passato dal quale affiora il ricordo di quegli insegnamenti, che ieri insopportabili e detestabili, appaiono oggi in tutta la loro saggezza e magnanimità. Un passato dal quale riemerge un'organizzazione sociale, culturale e religiosa guidata dal buon senso, dalla lealtà, dagli affetti incondizionati, dal senso di responsabilità e da un ritmo di vita in sincronia con il fluire eterno, e spesso implacabile, del tempo e delle stagioni. La famiglia, il vicinato, la chiesa e la scuola, la spiaggia, in cui ricordi (dolci e amari) sono radicati, sono il palcoscenico di questa rappresentazione che offre anche l'occasione di riportare alla memoria riti, tradizioni e usanze ormai scomparse e per descrivere l'impatto di quelle innovazioni tecnologiche (radio, televisione, cinema, Vespa-Ape-Fiat600) che avrebbero, negli anni, rivoluzionato la nostra vita.

Le donne hanno Memoria compiuta, rotonda. Lo dimostra la voce narrante di questa storia, che racconta la propria esistenza e quella del padre. Serenella Ticca vive e lavora a Cagliari. Ha conseguito la maturità classica e si è laureata in Giurisprudenza con una tesi dal titolo “Parità dei diritti dei coniugi, articolo 29 della Costituzione”. Avvocato e giornalista. Dagli anni Settanta a metà degli anni Novanta ha collaborato con “L’Unione Sarda” in terza pagina, ha coordinato gli uffici stampa e relazioni esterne di Confindustria Sardegna e della Fiera Internazionale isolana, come direttore responsabile dell’organo ufficiale Qui Fiera e ha curato la stesura e la pubblicazione del volume La nostra Fiera in occasione dei quarant’anni dalla prima manifestazione nel 1948. Ha collaborato a testate di taglio economico, “Il Globo”, “Espansione”, “Il Mondo” ed è stata corrispondente della rivista “Mondo Economico”. Ha tenuto corsi di comunicazione aziendale allo IED. Ha fondato la I.M.C. s.r.l., Società di Comunicazione Integrata, contribuendo alla formazione di figure professionali nel settore della comunicazione. Ha stampato in poche copie, per gli amici, una raccolta di undici racconti, in gran parte già pubblicati come elzeviri su “L’Unione Sarda”, dal titolo Storie di Gente, prefazione di Francesco Masala. Ha ideato e condotto il programma televisivo D…come uomo su Videolina, la prima televisione commerciale della Sardegna. Negli anni Ottanta ha tenuto varie mostre di pittura personali e collettive (Prima rassegna regionale d’arte. I naifs sardi organizzata da O.D.A., Villacidro). Attualmente è presidente dell’associazione no profit The Cosmic Tree a favore delle persone affette da patologie rare.

The full potential of the supply network can be realized only when the entire supply chain adopts interorganizational cost management practices. Competitive pressure has led many firms to try to increase the efficiency of supplier firms through interorganizational cost management systems, a structured approach to coordinating the activities of firms in a supplier network to reduce the total costs in the network. It is particularly important to lean enterprises for two reasons: Lean enterprises typically outsource more of the added value of their products than their mass producer counterparts. Lean enterprises usually compete more aggressively and must manage costs more effectively. Interorganizational cost management can reduce costs in three ways: through product design, through product manufacture and through cooperative approaches between buyers and suppliers to build smoother interfaces. However, more than just cost management must cross interorganizational boundaries. Suppliers are also a major source of innovation for lean enterprises. The Carthaginian Empire: 550 – 202 BCE argues for a new history of the Phoenician polity. In contrast to previous studies of the Carthaginian Empire that privileged evidence from Greco-Roman sources, Nathan Pilkington bases his study on evidence preserved in the archaeological and epigraphic records of Carthage and its colonies and dependencies. Using this evidence, Pilkington demonstrates that the Carthaginian Empire of the 6th– 4th centuries BCE — as recovered archaeologically and epigraphically — bears little resemblance to currently accepted historical reconstructions. He then presents an independent archaeological and epigraphic reconstruction of the Carthaginian Empire. In this presentation, the author argues that the Carthaginian Empire developed later, chronologically, and was less extensive, geographically, than reconstructions based on the Greco-Roman source tradition suggest. Pilkington further shows that Carthage developed a similar infrastructure of imperial power to those developed in Rome and Athens. Like its contemporaries, Carthage used colonization, the establishment of metropolitan political institutions at dependent polities, and the reorganization of trade into a metropolitan hub-and-spoke system to develop imperial control over subordinated territories.

Seconda puntata delle avventure dell'Alligatore, ovvero Marco Buratti, strano tipo di investigatore con la passione del blues, del calvados, e degli assistenti malavitosi, come Beniamino Rossini, gangster di vecchio stampo. A questi personaggi - e ai loro tic, alle loro manie - ci siamo già affezionati: segno indubitabile che il loro autore ci sa fare. Stavolta la vicenda si svolge tra la Sardegna e la Corsica: l'Alligatore ha ricevuto un incarico assai delicato - ovvero rognoso - da tre avvocati cagliaritani che hanno scontato anni di carcere per l'omicidio (presunto) di un altro avvocato, tale Giampaolo Siddi. Che però morto non è, anzi gode di ottima salute, soprattutto finanziaria, grazie a lucrosi traffici illegali. Seguendo la pista del Siddi viene alla luce l'esistenza di una vera e propria banda criminale di eterogenea composizione - ex funzionari del Sisde, trafficanti di droga, avvocati corrotti, delinquenti francesi assoldati per stroncare l'indipendentismo corso - ma unita da un curioso gergo derivato da un vecchio film francese. Il gioco sui nomi - testimoniato anche dalla presenza di Marlon Brundu, e dello stesso Mangiabarche - serve ad alleggerire una vicenda forte, che presenta aspetti molto crudi. Tant'è vero che, nonostante la banda venga sgominata, non torna il sereno: resta qualche cicatrice dolente, e - cosa ben più grave - l'impossibilità per l'Alligatore di farsi curare dalla consueta medicina del blues.
