“He’s a bad boy—cocky and damaged. So, why can’t I stop thinking about him?” Broken Dreams Sociable and unselfish, eighteen-year-old Tucker Graves loves two things—his darling little sister and the thrill of playing baseball. He never dreamed that he’d be homeless, but after a series of misfortunes, his life is nothing like he could have possibly imagined. Shocked and shattered, Tucker, his mother, and his baby sister now must brave the dangers of a dilapidated homeless encampment called Camp Roosevelt. A Wounded Heart Homeless since the age of fourteen, Dancer has mastered the tricks of living on the streets as a sex worker. The quiet, reclusive, and calculating ways of this twenty-year-old, green-eyed Adonis help him to survive. He hides his emotional scars from the world by interacting only with his clients, whose occasional bizarre requests he reluctantly fulfills. Dancer’s past has taught him to trust no one. A Second Chance When Tucker and Dancer come face to face on a stormy night, having been thrown together under the same roof, Tucker brings out a feeling in Dancer that he didn’t know still existed in him—desire. Neither man can deny the attraction he feels for the other. But some scars run deep, causing both Tucker and Dancer to question whether falling in love is even possible, especially when survival is on the line. Bryan T. Clark is a multi-published, Rainbow Award-winning author and LAMBDA finalist. *** One hundred percent of the royalties from the first year of this novel’s publication were donated to the Larkin Street Youth Services/Castro Youth Housing Initiative. At 5:48 p.m., on March 18, 1911, former president Theodore Roosevelt pushed the button allowing the first waters to be released from the world's highest masonry dam. The dam was one of the first projects authorized under the Newland Reclamation Act of 1902. The act provided federal money for state reclamation projects and established the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, which, between 1902 and 1907, began 30 projects within 11 western states. The confident promoters of the Roosevelt Dam began developing the project at the confluence of Tonto Creek and the Salt River five months before receiving formal approval by the newly established bureau in 1903. As a result of a 1992 expansion and renovation project, today's dam stands 357 feet high and bears little resemblance to the dam dedicated by Theodore Roosevelt.

President Theodore Roosevelt's love of natural history is celebrated in two sketches written by renowned naturalist John Burroughs. The friends shared a two-week trip to Yellowstone in the spring of 1903, in order to observe the wildlife and geologic wonders of America's first national park. The desire was to commune with nature, not to hunt. "I will not fire a gun in the Park, then I shall have no explanations to make," President Roosevelt said. While they had guides, the president was unaccompanied by secret service, personal physician, or secretaries and, remarkably, took an 18-mile trek through hard country completely by himself on one occasion. "He came back as fresh as when he started..."

"Camping with President Roosevelt" is a camping adventure memoir of naturalist John Burroughs. It follows a camping trip he made with the then American President Theodore Roosevelt to Yellowstone Park in the spring of 1903. Burroughs captures the events of the trip in vivid detail, focusing on what he termed as the "the most interesting thing I saw in that wonderful land, which, of course, was the President himself."
