Parts of THE TRUTH are found fragmented in every viewpoint, religion, aspect, and human ideology. But not a single one of the above can give us the complete picture of IT. As an example, take Newton's spinning-disk experiment and the deflection of (white) light into the seven colors of the rainbow. WHITE LIGHT -which contains all colors- is like the ONE TRUTH, which, like a magic picture, lies in front of everyone's eyes. Man, remaining firmly ATTACHED to his personal view (color) cannot compose all colors - aspects - viewpoints and gaze at the 'White' color of the TRUTH. If he can position himself however at a specific "place/point" he will be able TO SEE. Then, everything gets decoded in front of his eyes like a hidden picture that suddenly appears. Who are right then? The evolutionists who believe in Darwin's theory, or the Church when it claims that god created us? ...Both! Who is right: Those who believe in reincarnation or those who persistently reject it? ...Both! Who is right: Those who believe in man's soul and spirit or those who don't? ...Both! Who is right: The eye-witnesses of UFO's or the scientific community that insists there is no intelligent life on other planets? ...Both! The contents of this book gradually move the reader through an ascending-spiral process, from a simple position to a complex one, so as to smoothly reposition him to a different dimension, wherefrom he can gaze at a very different world from what he has believed in up to now.

'A masterly novel' New York Times 'Such is the exquisite, gossamer construction of Murakami's writing that everything he chooses to describe trembles with symbolic possibility' Guardian Read the haunting love story that turned Murakami into a literary superstar. When he hears her favourite Beatles song, Toru Watanabe recalls his first love Naoko, the girlfriend of his best friend Kizuki. Immediately he is transported back almost twenty years to his student days in Tokyo, adrift in a world of uneasy friendships, casual sex, passion, loss and desire - to a time when an impetuous young woman called Midori marches into his life and he has to choose between the future and the past. *Murakami's new book Novelist as a Vocation is available now* 'Evocative, entertaining, sexy and funny; but then Murakami is one of the best writers around' Time Out 'Poignant, romantic and hopeless, it beautifully encapsulates the heartbreak and loss of faith' Sunday Times 'This book is undeniably hip, full of student uprisings, free love, booze and 1960s pop, it's also genuinely emotionally engaging, and describes the highs of adolescence as well as the lows' Independent on Sunday

Just wow' - Roxane Gay 'Unflinchingly honest' - Reni Eddo-Lodge 'An act of truth-telling unlike any other I can think of' - Alexander Chee _______________ A TLS BOOK OF THE YEAR _______________ The story of the black male experience in America you've never read before Kiese Laymon grew up a hard-headed black son to a complicated and brilliant black mother in Jackson, Mississippi. From his early experiences of sexual violence, to his suspension from college, to his career as a young college professor, Laymon charts his complex relationship with his mother, grandmother, abuse, anorexia, obesity, sex, writing and ultimately gambling. In Heavy, by attempting to name secrets and lies that he and his mother spent a lifetime avoiding, Laymon asks himself, his mother, his nation and us to confront the terrifying possibility that few know how to love responsibly, and even fewer want to live under the weight of actually becoming free. A defiant yet vulnerable memoir that Laymon started writing when he was eleven, Heavy is an insightful exploration of weight, identity, art, friendship and family. _______________ 'Laymon's writing, as rich and elegant as mahogany, offers us comfort even as we grapple with his book's unflinching honesty ... Excellent' - New York Times

Drive Drunk Walk Sober written by Sean Lynott and has been published by this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2017-09-06 with Drinking and traffic accidents categories.

I awoke to an unfamiliar sound vibrating through my head, my stomach churning, my body was aching all over. This was a familiar morning wake up call, except this time there was this unfamiliar noise. I could hardly make out the squeaky irritating sounds at first, and then I realized it was a small transistor radio belting out tunes and crackling sounds, which sounded alien to me at first. My head was pounding, which was unusual, as I rarely had headaches from booze. I raised my hand to my forehead only to feel, what I can only describe as something like thread sticking out and so I tugged at them at first and boy did they hurt. It was then I realized they were stitches. I would soon find out that I'd killed a boy in a car accident because I'd insisted I could drive. I was drunk. I was drunk all the time, and I couldn't even admit it to myself. I journeyed through regret and toxic shame for decades. Now, I'm sober, and I'm recovering. It is my vision that by being vulnerable and sharing what happened to me and how I have recovered it will touch the aching hearts of others and inspire them to come forward, get the help they need and deserve, love and forgive themselves, and start living life once more.
