---------- Volume 2 (August 21th, 2010) ---------- : This highly original book gives an exact insight into the philosophical, logical, mathematical and physical foundations of causality.Causality is designed to provide both, the new methodology for making causal inferences on the basis of (non-) experimental data and the underlying theory. The new mathematical tools for evaluating causal relationships from (non-) experimental data are presented in the simplest and most intelligible form.Causality is thus an excellent book for self study and a pragmatic help for researchers. Anyone who wishes to elucidate cause effect relationships from (non-) experimental data will find this book invaluable. The reader will enjoy to read and use this book. Finally, a unified mathematical and statistical model of causation is available.

We are self-aware! The Universe is aware of itself through us. What are we? Each year, living matter processes billions of tons of chemicals in the act of living, and these chemicals become a part of life for some period, experiencing the very essence of being alive. We are processors, bags of living chemicals, bags of mainly water that experience awareness, and enjoy the benefits of life! Is our sole purpose to make the Universe experience life? When a molecule of water becomes part of our being, does it also enjoy being alive? It seems as if we are meant to explore the Universe to open vistas of ex-perience that will allow a variety of inanimate matter to experience life. The need to know and learn, sets us apart from ordinary matter, but what lurks behind this gift? Is knowledge and the act of knowing, just another form of a force field, like the electro-magnetic field and the gravitational field? This Theory explains emergent intelligence through logical causality and also provides a framework for future Artificial Intelligence.

This book is the final outcome of two projects. My first project was to publish a set of texts written by Schrodinger at the beginning of the 1950's for his seminars and lectures at the Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies. These almost completely forgotten texts contained important insights into the interpretation of quantum mechanics, and they provided several ideas which were missing or elusively expressed in SchrOdinger's published papers and books of the same period. However, they were likely to be misinterpreted out of their context. The problem was that current scholarship could not help very much the reader of these writings to figure out their significance. The few available studies about SchrOdinger's interpretation of quantum mechanics are generally excellent, but almost entirely restricted to the initial period 1925-1927. Very little work has been done on Schrodinger's late views on the theory he contributed to create and develop. The generally accepted view is that he never really recovered from his interpretative failure of 1926-1927, and that his late reflections (during the 1950's) are little more than an expression of his rising nostalgia for the lost ideal of picturing the world, not to say for some favourite traditional picture. But the content and style of Schrodinger's texts of the 1950's do not agree at all with this melancholic appraisal; they rather set the stage for a thorough renewal of accepted representations. In order to elucidate this paradox, I adopted several strategies.

This is the first book in which Einstein's equation is explicitly compared with its popular though not correct counterpart E = mc2, according to which mass increases with velocity. The book will be of interest to researchers in theoretical, atomic and nuclear physics, to historians of science as well as to students and teachers interested in relativity theory.

What is happening to perceptions of time, durability, and reality in the twenty-first century – and how do we deal with it? This anthology explores a diversity of uncommon insights about time, as seen from our historical and geographical standpoint. All contributions discuss how time can be seen, and how these views relate to changes in nature, technology, economy, working life, politics, religion, or philosophy specific to our own time. Findings are discussed within three themed sections; In Search of a Deeper Theory of Time, Time as Social Expectancy, and Time as Lived Experience. Contributions in this volume span from classical theory on branching time to personal experiences of drug-addicts’ time. Together, these diverse contributions shed new light on how construction, perception and regulation of time influences a person’s whole being in the world, collectively and individually, in the short and very long run, from the beginning of the Anthropocene to future cybertime.
