A challenging and disturbing exposure of State-sanctioned horrific injustice involving dehumanization, imprisonment, live medical murder and non-voluntarily body organ harvesting of dissidents in The People's Republic of China by a despotic regime. While officially announced by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) as no longer being practiced, a wealth of evidence and media reporting shows that in 2019 that live organ harvesting from unwilling donors is still carried out across China. As well as selling body organs including hearts, lungs, livers, corneas for the monetary reward it is applauded by the CCP as a convenient 'Final Solution' to ridding China of anyone who dares to challenge the atheist paranoid totalitarian control mechanisms in China today. Respected authors, academics, researchers and a myriad of internet website articles and reports all attest to the despicable actions still taking place involving Falun Gong members, Islamic, and Tibetan peoples and unauthorized practicing Chinese Christians - all of whom are told that they defy government views of religion at their peril. While 'freedom of religion' is included in the Chinese Constitution the reality is that it is completely up to the CCP as to what form of religious practices will be tolerated and no God is held to be higher than the Atheist Party and its officials. The author makes no apology for including the disdainful words 'Final Solutions' in the title of this challenging book citing that members of the English parliament have identified that actions taking place today in China have strong similarities to Hitler's Nazi Regime who devised horrendously barbaric solutions in eliminating innocent Jewish adults and children in concentration camps by gassing and incineration ovens. This highly disturbing book concludes by asking, "What good is it if any nation gains the whole world but loses its very soul?"CCP leader Xi Jinping has, since 2012, attempted to make a name for himself by cracking down on corruption in the Party among the Party 'Tigers' and 'Flies' in an effort to legitimize his tenure but has done nothing to admit to or dismantle the CCP-sanctioned ongoing murdering of dissidents to a ruling authority reminiscent of that in the novel Nineteen Eighty-Four (1984) by English writer George Orwell. The novel was set in a time frame when most of the world population became victims of perpetual control, omnipresent government surveillance and propaganda. In 2019 China has replicated many of the features of 1984 while its officials are strutting on the world stage claiming to be the new world order and moving against any who dare to challenge its own versions of human rights and common human morality that fall far short of all others who disdain manipulative actions of this Chinese Machiavellian Propaganda machine.

Final Solutions written by Benjamin A. Valentino and has been published by Cornell University Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2013-01-19 with Political Science categories.

Benjamin A. Valentino finds that ethnic hatreds or discrimination, undemocratic systems of government, and dysfunctions in society play a much smaller role in mass killing and genocide than is commonly assumed. He shows that the impetus for mass killing usually originates from a relatively small group of powerful leaders and is often carried out without the active support of broader society. Mass killing, in his view, is a brutal political or military strategy designed to accomplish leaders' most important objectives, counter threats to their power, and solve their most difficult problems. In order to capture the full scope of mass killing during the twentieth century, Valentino does not limit his analysis to violence directed against ethnic groups, or to the attempt to destroy victim groups as such, as do most previous studies of genocide. Rather, he defines mass killing broadly as the intentional killing of a massive number of noncombatants, using the criteria of 50,000 or more deaths within five years as a quantitative standard. Final Solutions focuses on three types of mass killing: communist mass killings like the ones carried out in the Soviet Union, China, and Cambodia; ethnic genocides as in Armenia, Nazi Germany, and Rwanda; and "counter-guerrilla" campaigns including the brutal civil war in Guatemala and the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan. Valentino closes the book by arguing that attempts to prevent mass killing should focus on disarming and removing from power the leaders and small groups responsible for instigating and organizing the killing.

Final Solutions written by Richard M. Lerner and has been published by Penn State Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2010-11 with Social Science categories.

The nature-nurture debate continues to stir controversy in the social and behavioral sciences. How much of human behavior and development can be attributed to biology and how much to the environment? Can either be said to &“determine&” human development? And what are the implications of each view for society? In this important study, a noted developmental psychologist contributes to this debate by confronting the difficult issue of &“doctrines&” of human development and the consequences for society of deriving political programs and public policy from them. Beginning with the premise that scientific ideas are not neutral but can be used for either good or evil, Richard Lerner considers the recent history of one such idea, biological determinism, which at times has had the backing of respected scientists, intellectuals, and political leaders. During this century, biological determinism has been coupled with political philosophies that hold that some people are inherently better than others. This has meant that certain groups of people&—Jews, Blacks, Native Americans, women&—have been stigmatized because of supposedly innate, even &“biological,&” differences, with sometimes disastrous consequences. The most notorious instance was Nazi Germany, where &“racial science,&” given legitimacy by the scientific community, became a cornerstone of the Nazi &“Final Solution.&” Meanwhile, theories of biological determinism continue to find adherents within the scientific community. Konrad Lorenz, who was awarded a Nobel Prize in 1973, was a critical figure in the development of the most recent manifestation of biological determinism&—sociobiology. Lerner examines the work of Lorenz and current sociobiologists and the implications of their claims for modern society. He fears that biological determinism may again be co-opted to serve the political agenda of today&’s reactionary politicians. In fact, Lerner notes, sociobiologists have had to face the fact that organizations such as the fascist National Front party in Britain and its counterparts in France and the United States have selectively seized upon sociobiology to fuel their notions of genetically superior and inferior races.

The Truth About China written by Bill Birtles and has been published by Allen & Unwin this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2021-04-26 with Biography & Autobiography categories.

A thrilling and provocative account of unfolding tensions between China and the West, filled with the people, stories and sticky situations from Bill Birtles' five years as ABC correspondent. 'People abroad always thought things were much scarier in China than they really were. What threw me, though, was the urgency of the diplomats in Beijing. They live it, they get it. And they wanted me out.' Bill Birtles was rushed out of China in September 2020, forced to seek refuge in the Australian Embassy in Beijing while diplomats delicately negotiated his departure in an unprecedented standoff with China's government. Five days later he was on a flight back to Sydney, leaving China without any Australian foreign correspondents on the ground for the first time in decades. A journalist's perspective on this rising global power has never been more important, as Australia's relationship with China undergoes an extraordinary change that's seen the detention of a journalist Cheng Lei, Canberra's criticism of Beijing's efforts to crush Hong Kong's freedoms, as well as China's military activity in the South China Sea and its human rights violations targeting the mostly Muslim Uighur minority in Xinjiang province. Chronicling his five-year stint in China as he criss-crossed the country, Birtles reveals why the historic unravelling of China's relations with the West is perceived very differently inside the country. The Truth About China is a compelling and candid examination of China, one that takes a magnifying glass to recent events, and looks through a telescope at what is yet to come.

Future Patterns In China Japan Power Solutions written by Andrew Forrest and has been published by this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2009 with China categories.

"The purpose of this paper is to explore the changing power dynamics between China and Japan and to assess their implications for the two countries' perceptions, beliefs and attitudes towards each other and the changing patterns of security in Asia. It argues that China's expanding power coupled with the recently accelerated emergence of a more assertive or proactive Japan has created the conditions for a deep and decisive turn in Chinese thinking on the character and structure of the U.S.-Japan alliance, the main forces shaping the evolving structure of power in Asia, and the parameters of political and strategic interaction between China and Japan within this structure. It begins by canvassing the Japan-related assumptions that have governed China's expectations of a future regional security order since the end of the Cold War, and how they have been challenged over the last several years by the erosion of Japan's identity as a passive and reactive state, the growing importance of popular opinion to China's foreign policy decision-making, and the transformation and realignment of the U.S.-Japan security alliance. Proceeding from the premise that these developments have cast doubt over commonly offered predictions of the conditions in which conflict and cooperation are likely to result between China and Japan, it then turns to what can be done now to peacefully manage the China-Japan relationship during a period of transition in which profound uncertainty about Japan's security role(s) will probably make it difficult for many Chinese not to see malign intentions in Japan's every move."--Abstract on item.

Producer Services In China written by Anthony G. O. Yeh and has been published by Routledge this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2013 with Business & Economics categories.

This groundbreaking volume is one of the first to address questions related to the development of producer services in China. The contributions explore a wide range of associated topics including the characteristics of the growth of producer services and how this is related to China's economic and urban transition, the distribution of these services amongst Chinese cities, as well as drawing comparison between producer service development in China and Western counterparts. The text also discusses the dynamics of the development of these services in China and how the political-economic embeddedness of China has shape the development of producer services. Finally, the consequences of this growth and how the economy and urban space have change in response is explored, as well as the challenges Chinese cities face in moving towards a service economy, and how this can inform future public policies.

This book project studies the variation of sovereignty in international order by analysing how the general model of sovereignty is localised in the political practice of two major non-Western rising powers, namely China and India. It aims to investigate how the sovereignty of these states is constituted, which includes the question of how sovereignty works and becomes constituted in specific contexts and cases that fall outside the discourses and positions of the so-called Westphalian (conservative, absolutist) sovereignty that is dominantly advocated by these two states on a global level. The core of this project explores specific contested cases and situates them vis-à-vis the broader approaches of China and India to sovereignty. I specifically analyse four particular cases: China’s approach to sovereignty in relation to Hong Kong and Taiwan and India’s approach to sovereignty in relation to Bhutan and Kashmir. In doing so, I will illustrate that sovereignty is a flexible and plastic phenomenon which can be intertwined with principles, models or practices that are usually seen as divergent from or contradicting sovereignty; for example, those that derive from China’s and India’s imperial and colonial history.
