El volumen II del libro Circuitos Eléctricos completa la teoría de circuitos expuesta en el volumen I y tiene como finalidad servir de texto para un segundo curso de análisis de circuitos, tal como se contempla en algunos planes de estudios actuales para los grados de Ingeniería Eléctrica y de Tecnologías Industriales (intensificación en Ingeniería Eléctrica). Se estructura, este 2º volumen, en tres Unidades Didácticas. La UD 4 trata sobre el análisis de circuitos en régimen transitorio: por escritura directa de las ecuaciones diferenciales y su posterior resolución; mediante la transformada de Laplace; por variables de estado y, finalmente, mediante métodos numéricos para el empleo del ordenador. En la UD 5 se presenta una introducción a la teoría de cuadripolos y se desarrollan los métodos de análisis de circuitos no lineales, orientados, también, al empleo del ordenador. El contenido de la UD 6 permite un cierto grado de libertad para adaptar el libro a diferentes planes de estudios. Así, en los que se orientan hacia la Ingeniería Eléctrica se pueden seleccionar los capítulos 23, “Resonancia”, y 24, “Bobinas acopladas en régimen estacionario sinusoidal”, y para que los que tengan una orientación más hacia la Electrónica, los capítulos 25, “Circuitos con ondas periódicas no sinusoidales”, y 26, “Sensibilidad”. Por la materia tratada y por el tipo de alumnos a los que va dirigido el libro, se ofrece un gran número de problemas a lo largo del texto y al final de cada capítulo, totalmente resueltos. Se ha buscado, en general, que los problemas correspondan a casos prácticos que se presentan en Ingeniería Eléctrica y en Electrónica.

El libro que se presenta es un compendio de problemas resueltos de circuitos eléctricos, fruto de la larga experiencia de los autores en la docencia de las diferentes asignaturas del área de Ingeniería Eléctrica en la ETSEIAT de la UPC. La obra se ha estructurado en torno a dos grandes bloques, correspondientes al comportamiento de circuitos eléctricos en régimen permanente y su estudio en régimen dinámico o transitorio. La resolución de los circuitos eléctricos en régimen permanente se ha llevado a cabo aplicando diversos métodos, lo que permite al lector un enriquecimiento personal de sus conocimientos. La aplicación de las leyes de Kirchhoff; de los teoremas de Thevenin, Norton, Millman, de sustitución, de máxima transferencia de potencia, etc., permite consolidar los conocimientos de la materia que se van adquiriendo. La segunda parte del libro aborda la resolución de los problemas en régimen transitorio, sobre circuitos de primer y de segundo orden, con fuentes de alimentación de origen diverso (constante, sinusoidal, etc.). La aplicación de ecuaciones diferenciales y/o el método de las transformadas de Laplace permitirán determinar su solución. Sería muy conveniente que el lector resolviera todos los problemas presentados mediante los dos métodos. Cabe destacar que varios de los problemas que se presentan en este libro fueron ejercicios de examen en diferentes convocatorias.

The effects of human loads on structures are difficult to predict because they depend on the type of activity people are performing. However, models for typical activities such as standing, sitting and jumping have been proposed in the literature. Traditional models represent the human body as a system of lumped masses, dampers and springs arranged in a system with multiple degrees of freedom. Arguably, these models might not fully represent the human body because lumped masses, dampers and springs cannot add energy to the overall system. Controller systems have been widely used in electrical, seismic and other fields of engineering for systems in which setting a specific response is important. Given that the human acts like a controller system, where the feedback affects the response of the system, and the specific use of controllers is becoming common in structural engineering, this research developed a controller model to reproduce the phenomenon of Human-Structure Interaction (HSI).
