Scientific Essay from the year 2018 in the subject Computer Science - Commercial Information Technology, grade: 2.5, , language: English, abstract: Cloud computing is a promising technology where computational power is provided over internet as per users demand just like the supplies daily utilities of tap water, electricity and gas provided as pay per use. The features of easy accessibility anywhere at any time and almost no burden of on-going operational expenses like running of data-centre makes it one of the fastest growing technologies with the overall business of cloud being anticipated to be above $40 billion by 2012. Here, cloud computing and its types have been discussed along with two emerging cloud deployment models and two emerging cloud service models. Block chains, Organic Network, Dynamic Trust Management Method (DTMM) and Cloud Compliance have been elaborated. Though data protection laws can be different with change in jurisdiction but here emphasis has been given on data policies existing in India based on IT Act (2000). Finally a reference model has been suggested for avoiding DDoS and Blockchain DDoS Attacks in Cloud Environment. The discussions has been concluded highlighting the recommendations and necessary actions needed for the same. Scientific Essay from the year 2018 in the subject Computer Science - IT-Security, grade: 2.5, , language: English, abstract: Cyberbullying, cyber extortion, cyber trafficking and cyber theft are some examples of rising cybercrimes across the globe. Although Titan rain, Epsilon, Estonian cyber war and Sony are few of the biggest cybercrimes in history but here I have discussed cybercrime related to kids and teens. In 1983, a nineteen-year-old UCLA student used his PC to break into a Defence Department International Communications system. In August 2010 the International Investigation Operation Delego, operating under the aegis of the Department of Homeland Security, shut down the international pedophile ring Dreamboard. The website had approximately 600 members, and may have distributed up to 123 terabytes of child pornography (roughly equivalent to 16,000 DVDs). To date this is the single largest U.S. prosecution of an international child pornography ring; 52 arrests were made worldwide. The above two are examples of rising cybercrimes against and committed by kids and teens. Here I have discussed cybercrime cases in USA, China, Brazil, and India with reference to kids and teens. The countries have been chosen as per Cybercrime 2016 statistics on twenty countries [26]. Also the impact of cybercrimes on these young minds have been disclosed. The need to educate kids and teens on cyber ethics and impact of cybercrimes has been stated. Also how to do the same has also been specified here. A five step wise model has been suggested to be followed while educating and building cyber ethics among kids and teens. Essay from the year 2018 in the subject Business economics - Offline Marketing and Online Marketing, grade: 2.5, , language: English, abstract: Brand is not a new term for many of us. Whenever something has to be bought one looks for good stuff or good service provider. People who have capacity to pay little more for the same product look for Branded products or services. The word Brand is misunderstood as products or services which are better than the rest. There might be companies who are not Brands but have better product and services. But the market reach of Brands is more as they are constantly trying to reach us and leave an impression on us. So when you plan to buy some product or service, the first thing that comes in mind is Branded stuff. This is how Brands live with us in our minds and our lives. The term Brand is supposed to have roots back in 950 AD. A hot burned wooden stake has been first called “Brand” in 950 AD. 'To brand' means to 'make an indelible mark of ownership', especially with a hot stake or iron and this verb usage has been known since the Middle Ages and is clearly derived from the earlier name. Branding earlier was a marketing strategy to stay ahead in competition especially to differentiate among big players and small ones. Previously usage and quality of products and services were shown and communicated much more than they were worth of. When advertisement used to come for Vicks Action 500, a person was shown being troubled with cough and cold. Just taking one tablet of Vicks Action 500 cured him and he was happy.
