Written by an L. A. County homicide detective and former atheist, Cold-Case Christianity examines the claims of the New Testament using the skills and strategies of a hard-to-convince criminal investigator. Christianity could be defined as a “cold case”: it makes a claim about an event from the distant past for which there is little forensic evidence. In Cold-Case Christianity, J. Warner Wallace uses his nationally recognized skills as a homicide detective to look at the evidence and eyewitnesses behind Christian beliefs. Including gripping stories from his career and the visual techniques he developed in the courtroom, Wallace uses illustration to examine the powerful evidence that validates the claims of Christianity. A unique apologetic that speaks to readers’ intense interest in detective stories, Cold-Case Christianity inspires readers to have confidence in Christ as it prepares them to articulate the case for Christianity.

Does atheism really explain everything? Can reasonable people take Christianity seriously? During the early twenty-first century, New Atheism was busy producing best-selling books and plastering adverts on the sides of buses. Its loud scepticism is not as popular these days, but many of its arguments live on. Yet, what if some of its common claims like, "science has buried God" and "religion is the cause of most wars" are not just incorrect, but demonstrably wrong? What if Richard Dawkins and the other New Atheists were not merely barking up the wrong tree, but were in the wrong forest entirely? Andy Bannister brings you this fully updated and revised book, with new chapters, new resources and new comedy. The Atheist Who Didn't Exist is designed for curious people to tug at the loose threads of atheism and see if it unravels.

I had a calling to write and just started writing. I had some issues arising at my job and this book was therapeutic for me to write. My purpose for writing this book was my way to prove to college students and parents that Religion is extremely important in Child Development and Education. It is right up there with Safety and Nutrition. Did you know that Religion/faith/Bible/God is talked about in various child development text books? I’m only bringing out topics that is already in our curriculum. I have found such an intolerance to anything Religious based amongst college students and often even the staff. Adjunct college professors don’t have academic freedom. Academic Freedom is a professional right that protects teachers, students and academic institutions from interference when pursing knowledge. It allows scholars, researchers, and educators to engage in teaching and scholarship without fear of censorship or retribution. This includes the freedom to raise difficult subjects in a classroom discussion and publish a controversial research paper. I could see how academic freedom can be taken to far with religion and politics. That being said those that can’t express their academic freedom will find legal means to do so-Hence the book I’m writing. In this book I discuss all the ways religion is brought up in the text book, how it relates to children, bible scriptures that go along with the topic, the history of Christianity in Colleges, and validity of the Bible.

This book investigates potential neo-Darwinian fallacies, specifically regarding a priori assumptions, that may have led to weak scientific methodology and praxis. It was proposed that five concepts must be true for neo-Darwinism to be true. These are gradualism, the tree of life hypothesis, the evidence of microevolutionary change accounting for macroevolutionary change, time and chance, and methodological naturalism. Prima facie, these concepts have tremendous explanatory power. Yet, with an attempt to carefully examine these concepts, all five seem to be assumed a priori so as to dictate the outcome of neo-Darwinism rather than letting the evidence speak for itself. The evidence left by the Cambrian explosion, genomic potential, genetic entropy, irreducible complexity, genetic limits, cyclical change, probability theory, the epistemology of information, and the law of causality seems to pose a dilemma for neo-Darwinian assumptions.

Not Man Enough To Be A Woman®, in and of itself, is nonsensical. It is something my father said to me the night I told my parents about my pending transition, after he concluded a discourse on the virtues of his sisters. The story behind the title is in Chapter 1. This book is a love story and an apology to my family. It's a father son story of love and hate, a 23-year estrangement and a deathbed reconciliation. It's the story of my lifelong struggle with gender dysphoria and transition. It's the story of repentance and coming to Christ which led to my detransition. It is my assessment and warning of the lies and secret intentions of the trans movement of today and it's a call to action to protect our kids.

In Contagious Faith, bestselling author and teacher Mark Mittelberg introduces five approaches to evangelism and helps you determine which of them fit best with your unique personality and style: Friendship-Building Selfless-Serving Story-Sharing Reason-Giving Truth-Telling He also explains in a down-to-earth fashion several key skills that will help you talk about Jesus effectively, illustrating his message with real-life accounts of ordinary believers who applied these principles for extraordinary impact. With inspiring stories, fresh approaches, and timeless biblical wisdom, Contagious Faith will equip you to make a spiritual impact in the lives of the people around you—even in our increasingly resistant culture.
