Le thème que nous abordons dans cette petite recherche répugne quelquefois. En ce qui nous concerne, il s'agit d'une tentative de vulgarisation de la nébuleuse. Certains considèrent la sorcellerie comme un faux problème ; quand d'autres la classent purement et simplement parmi les croyances superstitieuses sans fondement. Pourtant, le porteur de la Bonne Nouvelle du Salut en Jésus Christ ne peut, à notre avis, ignorer ce phénomène qui persiste chez bon nombre de nos concitoyens. Et parmi eux, il y en a qui se disent pastoralistes ou chrétiens. Ne sied-il pas alors de se demander si ce phénomène n'est pas situé au niveau de la force vitale la plus profonde, tant la quasi-totalité de leur vie semble se jouer dans le monde de l'interaction des forces occultes ? Pour nous, la prise au sérieux de l'anthropologie chrétienne peut peut-être venir à bout de la sorcellerie. Par ailleurs, ne faudrait-il même pas, à un moment donné, chercher à pactiser avec la nébuleuse actuelle, pour y soutirer des positivités qu'elle renfermerait en vue d'un développement humain intégral ?
