Tempo imperfetto, dunque: perché l’imperfezione è tra noi, perché l’imperfezione è ciò che distingue e disaggrega, è ciò da cui germina la singolarità e si origina l’individualità; ma poi anche Tempo imperfetto per il continuo proporsi di alternative che rendono difficile il confronto, per la lacerazione che si consuma fra pretese di sistematicità razionale e l’emergere della contingenza, per lo sconcerto che talvolta deriva dal disegno utopico e dalla sua distanza dai bisogni e dalle inquietudini d’ogni giorno. E dobbiamo anche dire Tempo imperfetto per cogliere la natura del compito o il profilo del progetto educativo. La grandezza dell’uomo è nell’accettazione di sé. Al di là della siepe c’è l’infinito, e quindi anche il sogno, il desiderio, l’immaginazione e lo slancio vitale: il punto di congiunzione che lega lo spazio e il tempo, il presente e il futuro, la regola e la possibilità di trasgressione, l’esperienza e la padronanza di sé, la competenza e la capacitazione, nell’esercizio attivo ed efficace di una cittadinanza dignitosa, leale, accogliente, partecipe ed attenta alle generazioni che verranno.

Ormai la nostra società è diventata multietnica e pluriculturale, ma la multiculturalià della società non significa incontro e dialogo bensì necessità di creare le condizioni per uno scambio positivo e una reciprocità fondamentale a qualsiasi forma di convivialità.
