Although most scholars believe that the Mesopotamian texts are mythology, the research was carried out under the premise that their content corresponds to real events. Analysis of academic translations of the texts revealed that many details critical to understanding the story have not been revealed. An exhaustive analysis of the data determined the most probable dates of the events. The book presents the events related to the arrival of the Anunnaki to Earth and the consequences of their mission chronologically according to findings in Mesopotamian texts and ancient books. Various sources, including apocryphal books, reports from ancient historians, scientific research, and archaeological records, supplemented the research. Many riddles were decoded, including who the Anunnaki and the Igigi (watchers, Nephilim) were. Why, when, and how did H. sapiens originate, how did the other species arise, and why did they become extinct? Why and when did the Anunnaki arrive and finally leave Earth? When will the planet Nibiru return to our area in the inner solar system? The results and findings of this research deserve to be known due to the probability that the stories in the Mesopotamian texts really happened. The book's proposals differ from what we have learned in educational institutions about the origin of humanity and invite critical thinking to reflect on the history of the Anunnaki gods. In the early twentieth century, Chinese Buddhists sought to strengthen their tradition through publications, institution building, and initiatives aimed at raising the educational level of the monastic community. In The Huayan University Network, Erik J. Hammerstrom examines how Huayan Buddhism was imagined, taught, and practiced during this time of profound political and social change and, in so doing, recasts the history of twentieth-century Chinese Buddhism. Hammerstrom traces the influence of Huayan University, the first Buddhist monastic school founded after the fall of the imperial system in China. Although the university lasted only a few years, its graduates went on to establish a number of Huayan-centered educational programs throughout China. While they did not create a new sectarian Huayan movement, they did form a network unified by a common educational heritage that persists to the present day. Drawing on an extensive range of Buddhist texts and periodicals, Hammerstrom shows that Huayan had a significant impact on Chinese Buddhist thought and practice and that the history of Huayan complicates narratives of twentieth-century Buddhist modernization and revival. Offering a wide range of insights into the teaching and practice of Huayan in Republican China, this book sheds new light on an essential but often overlooked element of the East Asian Buddhist tradition.

The eighth volume of the International Yearbook of Futurism Studies is again an open issue and presents in its first section new research into the international impact of Futurism on artists and artistic movements in France, Great Britain, Hungary and Sweden. This is followed by a study that investigates a variety of Futurist inspired developments in architecture, and an essay that demonstrates that the Futurist heritage was far from forgotten after the Second World War.
